Summary: I bought this for a friend that has her grandchild in another state and she wanted to skype but did not have good hardware. This was a perfect solution without purchasing a new computer or anything. We added to television and it was super easy to install.
Summary: It does make it easy for others to see you on the big screen but its hard to see the fam from a far. You can zoom in to get better images but then it can get a little grainy. Overall I am please with it as long as I place the camera on top of the tv and not at the bottom because it will echo.
Summary: Excellent product, excellent performance and easy to chat with friends on skype. This product is to expensive, I bought this product becouse my salesman offered the cheapest price, just a pity that we had to pay 50 USD extra duty.
Summary: I bought a used one and it works fine. I have a 2010 Pansonic VT25 and had no issues so far. The only thing which I dont like is that you can't rotate the camera from side to side and when I want to show the other side of the room to the people I am skyping with, I have to physically move the camera onto the other side of the TV, etc. But I guess eventually they will make fully rotatable cameras down the road. For now this one gets the job done!
Summary: Product works well. However for those who have a panasonic viera tv you may have the same difficulty I had with the skype audio. My system is run through an onyko 708 with a 5.1 energy speaker system. I could not get any sound and occasionally no picture. The picture eventually came up after logging on several times. However, you will not get any sound unless you turn the tv speakers on. The audio will not pass through the external speakers.
