Summary: Too bad there is no "no star" option. The device worked as advertised for 10 months and then stopped working entirely. Buying this is like tossing money down the drain. I suggest Amazon stop marketing the product. It is not good for Amazon's reputation.
Summary: I just hooked up up for the first time to my hp envy spectre, which has an internal card for hp wireless audio. It sounds great. The signal transmits uncompressed so there is no loss there. Also it has the spdif digital out which seems to make a noticeable difference in sound quality.
Summary: I was looking for a device that could stream audio from my PC to my audio system. Took a look at the Logitech Wireless Bluetooth Adapter, the Audio Pro Living WF100 and the HP Wireless Audio. The first is under specced, the second overpriced so, i got the HP one.
Summary: This product works. I am able to play music from Pandora wirelessly from a desktop computer through my audio system. The sound is adequate although it only works in stereo. My goal was to be able to play music from my desktop, through my audio system using speakers that are located on the same level...
Summary: HI I GOT THIS UNIT SO I CAN HEAR SIRIUS XM RADIO ON LINE FROM MY HP LAP TOP TO MY IN HOUSE AMP. UNIT WORKS VERY NICE SET UP WAS FAST TOOK VERY LITTLE SKILLS. ONE THING YOU MUST REMEMBER WERE YOUR SOUND IS COMING FROM UP LOADED AUDIO FROM OTHER PEOPLE THEY RECORDED BAD AUDIO SOME TIMES.
Summary: Despite being connected via SPDIF, this product seems to only output audio in two channels. When installed in windows 7; windows sees the device as a set of speakers so inherently limits the audio to two channels at the driver level.
Summary: I recently bought an HP Envy Spectre and I wanted to stream audio to my surround sound speakers. I read about HP Wireless Audio and although there wasn't that much info about it, I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did because it sounds great in my setup.
