Summary: I've got this hooked up to a Sony rack system. It's in my art loft and the sound from this turntable just permeates the entire area. Can't beat it. Great low price for a ton of value. Real easy to set up...basic plug-n-play. No drawbacks yet. Was delivered in a few days, came undamaged, and more than met expectations. Couldn't be happier.
Summary: I use this turntable to transfer my old Lp's to my computer file and then download to my I pod. There are two cables attached to this unit. The one is used as a monitor when connected to you stereo system. The other attaches to your computer system. The recording software which comes with this unit is not supported by my windows 7 operating system. I ordered a separate program which was more compatible and much more simple to understand.
Pros: Consistent, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Good Product Easy To Use
Summary: This is a very good turntable for the money. Plays vinyl records very well. Don't be mislead by the title, this turntable is able to play a record like normal through speakers via RCA out. However, you also have the option to convert your vinyl to mp3, etc. Sound quality is great, can't beat a good old fashioned record. Definitely worth buying!
Summary: I've only had my turntable for a couple of months, but easily converted several vinyl albums using the vinyl restoration feature in SoundForge 9.0, although some songs don't break. That's easily fixed via cut & paste into new tracks. Just make sure you save first in WAV format and then you can edit freely and save into other formats (e.g. MP3, etc.#. Still learning software, but it seems to work best via the vinyl restoration wizard.
