Excerpt: My friend who is a professional DJ recommended me to this product when it was time to upgrade, I mainly use it just for everyday listening, but I also wanted something with super high sound quality for sampling and music production purposes (as I'm reintegrating my turntable into my studio).
Pros: Consistent, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Professional Features, Sturdy
Excerpt: Heaved loved hi-fi for decades and have had a lot of shure cartridges from the m3 to the v15 and the sc39ed. The m97xe is there best shot yet. Every review i had read has been dead on. this shure is definitely audiofile quality. And for the B&H price you can't go wrong.

Excerpt: I have owned a number of Shure V-15 cartridges in the past. This cartridge has a impressive performance. It projects a very smooth easy to listen to sound. I like it so much that I bought two additional units while they are still available. They provide the best performance in their price range.
Pros: Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Professional Features, Versatile
Excerpt: Excellent tracking, superb dynamic range. Realistic orchertal balance when listening to opera and symphonic stereo recordings.Ideal, extremely cost effective replacement for the Shure V15 cartridge.
Pros: Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Professional Features
Excerpt: I bought my first Shure cartridge in 1961 to install in a Reckocut belt drive turntable. Unfortunately, the belts dry out over time and are no longer available. So I bought the Audio Technica direct drive table betting that they've solved the rumble and wow problems such tables had early on.
Excerpt: This is a nice light cartridge with a nice rich sound. I used it to replace an old Audio Technica cartridge and stylus on a 40-year-old Dual. The dynamic stabilizer is great for old record players and slightly imperfect old records.
Excerpt: Actually am using the stylus in my 1970's Shure M104e cartridge and it sounds wonderful. Tracking at 1.5 grams. This is the second headshell set-up I use with my Denon D300p turntable and vintage NAD receiver and A70 Boston Acoustics loudspeakers. Recommended.
