Excerpt: The first turntable was damaged in transit but B&H customer service department came through. I was very impressed by their thoroughness and ease of returning with no questions asked. The turntable is awesome. A great value and a fabulous return policy made me a very satisfied customer.
Excerpt: This turntable has an internal RIAA preamp. You connect it to AUX or CD jacks of your stereo receiver. The preamp sounds MUCH better than the phono preamp in my stereo. I was not expecting that. It's very automated - you never have to touch the tonearm. This is great for a klutz like me.
Excerpt: Excellent turn table. Pitch control, pre-amlified, it sounds beautifully! I was sick of listening compressed usic, took some time until find some turn table, and this one is the right choice if you dont want to spend tons of money. The only missing item is a headphone jack.
Excerpt: I bought this turntable as an upgrade from my "all-in-one" player with built-in speakers. Did some research and for the price range I was looking in, this was seemed like the best choice. I'm glad I went with it too, the sound quality is great, new or old LPs, doesn't matter.
Excerpt: I am replacing an older Pioneer turntable that went with an 80's stereo system. I had that turntable repaired to the point that it's cheaper to buy a new one. So I found this PL-990 Pioneer at B&H.
Pros: Easy to set up, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Professional Features
Summary: My son and daughter, who grew up listening to music on my turntable, now think turntables are "retro" and therefore, by default, the cool thing to have. Imagine my surprise when they both asked for a turntable for Christmas and any duplicate LP's I have (I own 10,000+ vinyl albums).
Summary: My children bought me this turntable for Father's Day and I love it! It has easy one button play and shut's off by itself when I fall asleep listening to music. I've experienced no vibration, even when the volume is on high. Love the rubber mat because it protects my valuable LP's when playing them.
Summary: I paid $106.00 for this turntable. The one I bought 25 years ago that this was suppose to replace didn't come with a stillis. That cost me an extra 100 + dollars. The sound is so poor, I spun two LP's and put it right back in the box!!! You get what you pay for!!!
