Summary: seems ok so far...inconvenient on/off switch at back of turntable so one has to reach for it no cue arm software upgrade easy to get, but not clear that all features are available on upgrade as compared to supplied disk
Summary: GREAT VALUE, BEAUTIFUL WORKMANSHIP, AND APPEARANCE, BUT MINOR ANNOYANCES ABOUND, SUCH AS THE COVER IS NOT HINGED SO THAT YOU MUST FIND A PLACE FOR IT WHEN YOU'RE PLAYING RECORDS. THERE IS NO 'CUE' SWITCH SO THAT YOU MUST PHYSICALLY HUNT FOR THE BEGINNING OF A TRACK, AND FINALLY, THE POWER SWITCH IS LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE MACHINE (!?
Summary: First the cons; It's not automatic so it requires monitoring during recording. The RCA cords are permanently attached and somewhat in the way. If you are using a MAC you need a lot of patience. It took me three days and tech support to get it working. Audacity can be just that. MAC's need LameLib in order for Audacity to save as MP3. After three days I finally got LameLib downloaded and working with Audacity.
