Excerpt: This wasn't purchased for audiophile use, just a simple plug and play replacement cartridge for average to fine LP's. So much vinyl for so little $$, it's hard not to have a couple turntables running. We're boppin' in the heppest garage in town. Great value cartridge for a fine sounding extraction from between the grooves.
Excerpt: I am using this on my 1979 Technics SL-1200MK2 that was used for DJ use and is now used for studio duty. After transferring some vinyl to digital, I realized that the spherical DJ carts we not cutting it for home listening and transcribing. This Audio Technica AT92ED sounds so much clearer and more defined. I enjoy listening while transferring. The only drawback is the light tracking. Not so great records that are warped a bit or scratched will skip.
Excerpt: i just replaced my p-mount AT92ECD phone cartridge on my turntable, with a new AT92ECD from audio-technica. i cant believe the performance of these cartridges, i spin records every morning when i get up and this last AT92ECD lasted 6 years, not bad for a cartridge that's not expensive , now i am set for the next 6 years!
Excerpt: My technics quartz was in desperate need of a new cartridge and stylus. I'm new to the world of vinyl, but this cartridge installed easily in my plug-in format cartridge mounting system. The difference in sound was amazing, and especially for the price this cartridge is a great value. The cartridge did come with a hanging mount for manual wire attachment as well.
Excerpt: This set includes a cartridge as well as a needle, including mounting hardware for a wide variety of tone arms. It took less than 5 minutes to install on my P type turntable, and sounds great.
Excerpt: As with all Japenese products the quality is very high and consistent. This AT92ECD cartridge is a great value for vinyl record playing people such as myself. Vinyl records sound so much better than CD's , especially with a tube amplifier.
