Summary: I got this to save energy. It draws 1500 watts compared to the 2400 watts my big oven draws. It works well for baking small items. It does accomodate a normal muffin pan. It has simple mechanical controls so there are no electronic components exposed to the high heat which can fail (all toaster ovens get hot inside and out).
Summary: Hoped this would be a good replacement for an older DeLonghi unit. Wow what a disappointment. Unit doesn't heat up, even using the convection setting on high temp. Also the control labels are too small to read. Gave up trying to toast a piece of bread after 5 minutes of the thing sitting there barely getting warm. Back to Lowes it goes!
Summary: It would be perfect if there was a nonstick coating inside the oven. Very fast cooking with convection. We find we are more apt to bake things now that we don't have to turn on our full size oven. I am wheelchair bound and.no more trying to reach into a hot oven with the risk of getting burns.
Summary: Was worried about cooking limitation but found it will hold a 12 inch pizza. Wire rack a little difficult to remove and replace but still a great deal for the price. Large enough for a whole chicken.
Summary: Very disappointed by the poor quality of this toaster oven. Had the exact same model for over two years until the heating element failed in a big way. However, my wife and I liked that first unit so much we ordered a 2nd one anyway. Well evidently they found numerous ways to make the same unit much more cheaply and the final product suffers greatly as a result.
Summary: I bought this at Lowes, at the spur of the moment, for $15 more. It's the last time I make a purchase without checking reviews. Ironically, there are two opposing problems with this oven. The worse problem is that this oven runs incredibly hot on the outside. There is no insulation or lining of any kind between the top heating elements and the outside metal skin. So, if one is baking at 450 degrees that's what the outside of the oven is also.
