Summary: Purchased this just over a year ago and found it not as good as my last DeLonghi. The convection oven setting takes longer to cook with than the regular setting on this model. Go figure? It cooked unevenly as well. Not terribly, but I did find i needed to rotate my pizza. The exterior was quite large so it needed lots of counter space, and therefore the interior space was sufficient for cooking pizzas, roasts, breads etc.
Summary: I had one of this model for 5 years . i loved it so I purchased another. my old one had a separate pull out crumb tray on the bottom. this new one has the tray inside. this is not an improvement.
Summary: It arrived with a dent, not a big deal, but just a month after using it the baking pan rusted. I'm only using it now to toast until a replacement pan can be found. It was great until the pan rusted and biased my opinion.
Summary: This unit worked fine for years, albeit the cooking temps were off so I just stuck a baking thermometer inside and made exterior tick marks next to the dial to compensate, however, my views changed towards this unit when the bottom heating elements started to warp. Three months ago the two bottom elements started warping and now look like spaghetti and of course they do not work, which leaves this unit only for heating small items only.
Summary: Someone wrote about the "imprecise" toast selector, and "not needing that stress in the morning". HAH! That is the understatement of the decade .... your toast-select options with this piece of crap might as well be "bread" or "burned to carbon". The imprecision of the toast selector is so unimaginably hopeless that there is a good chance you'll be using a fire-extinguisher rather than eating.
