Inexpensive, does the job

eemiller82, Amazon
25 April 2014
  • Summary: This is the cheapest black toaster I could find on Amazon. We've had it for a couple months now, and it looks nice and seems to work fine. My only complaint is that the only way to stop mid-cycle (that I'm aware of) is to unplug it. Other than that, I'm happy.

disappointed

L, Amazon
6 September 2012
  • Summary: Usually consumers Reports' ratings lead me to excellent products. in the case of this toaster, It seems impossible to use the "toast lifter" without using so much force that you launch the toast all over the room.

Broke after less than a year of infrequent use.

N. Gerzhgorina, Amazon
4 September 2012
  • Summary: Before it broke in 10 months of sporadic use, it had been quite a disappointment. The short cord was coming out from the front, so I had to let it go around the toaster and use an extension cord to plug it in. Turning the knob down to zero didn't stop toasting - I had to unplug the whole thing.

junk

diasha78, Amazon
4 September 2012
  • Summary: The first one we bought stopped working after just a few uses. The bread would not stay inside after we pushed the lever down; it would just pop right out. We exchanged it for a new one after the salesperson assured us that we are just unlucky and that he sells tons of them and no one has...

Basic toaster

Brad Garcia, Amazon
3 September 2012
  • Summary: It toasts. But this is the first toaster that won't allow a person to prematurely end a toasting session. It's not possible to lift up the lever. The only way I've found to manually end the toasting session is to actually unplug it.

works like a toaster but takes forever

Eli's*Mama, Amazon
3 September 2012
  • Summary: I don't suppose you can go too wrong with a toaster, i mean they all toast bread right? But this one takes forever! My mom's toaster pops out a perfectly toasted piece of bread in about 15 seconds. Not this one, and the bread seems more dry than toasted.

nyc fairchild, Amazon
3 September 2012
  • Summary: We use this toaster 3-4 times a week and it has always work for us wonderfully. It's small and light enough for storing on the shelf. It took me a little time to figure out how the dial in relation to how dark I like, but I do it with any other toasters. I enjoy this product very much.

Good, basic toaster

San Francisco Gal, Amazon
2 September 2012
  • Summary: This is my second purchase of this toaster. The first one lasted many years, and still works, except that something just broke that necessitated holding the lever down throughout the toasting process. So, it was time to replace it.

Nice toaster

J. Smith, Amazon
31 August 2012
  • Summary: Overall, this is a good toaster, especially for the price. When turned all the way towards dark, it still doesn't brown an english muffin enough. One must run it some more. Other than this, it's just fine. I recommend it.
