Oster 6058 Toaster Oven, very happy with this purchase.
5 February 2012
Summary: This is the best toaster oven I have even owned. Easy to set, cooks good. Yes, a few tricks to learn, but very happy with it. Would tell anyone who wanted or needed a new toaster oven this is the one to get. Thanks.
Summary: I love my new toaster oven. I use it everyday. It cooks very quick with the convection feature. Don't use the big range oven any more, it takes to long to preheat and cook. Wish I bought this oven a long time ago. I give the Oster 6058 Toaster Oven an A+++++.
Summary: I still had a Black & Decker that was working fine but wanted something new and in stainless. This oven is fine and works as well as my other one. I just wish that all the manufacturers would make them an inch or so larger so you can get you muffin and regular 9x13 pans in it. The reason I wanted to update was to get a larger inside dimension but I still cannot use regular pans larger than 11".
Summary: The Oster Toaster Oven seems to perform well, but Oster did not include a conversion chart from conventional oven cooking to Convection oven cooking. I found several conversion charts on the Internet, but the time given isn't always correct. The Oster's convection may not be hot enough to cook the recipes as directed. It wouldn't have taken Oster anytime at all to include a Convection Oven conversion chart with the purchase of the unit.
My 2nd one - both broken, both now in landfills - no repair help

Summary: Save yourself the time and hassle. Don't buy oster. This is my second Oster Convection Toaster oven. I really enjoy them... when they work. Which seems to stop happening right when the warranty runs out. TWICE now, I have had Oster Toaster ovens that I like, but like clockwork, when the 1 year warranty expires, there is NOTHING that can be done to fix them.
Summary: That same burning electric smell happened to me as well as some have said. Then there was a fire inside the control panel. Yes literally a fire! Needless to say...back to Costco it goes. I loved the oven before this and used it all the time. It is true, it does suck as a toaster, but as an oven it became my goto cooking appliance instead of my high end convection kitchen oven I bought. If it did not catch on fire I would still be using it..
