Summary: I bought this toaster a couple of years ago at Target and have regretted it every morning since. It seemed to have 2 settings, "Raw" and "Burned", no matter how you set the temperature control. One had to literally stand over it and watch the bread or bagel to make sure it wasn't getting too dark.
Summary: Toast pops up too soon and will not lock back into toasting position. This is true even when the knob is dialed all the way over to the darkest setting. Also, often times it stops toasting, but the toast never pops up at all. The heating elements just turn off. This has happened a handful of times and after several minutes I'll impatiently walk over and realize it hasn't even been toasting. I would have never bought this pile of junk.
Summary: I recently did a makeover on my kitchen and all the appliances as well as decor is black and red. This toaster is the best I have yet to see, it has so many settings which makes it so easy to use. The color is very rich looking and the retractable cord is a major plus!
Summary: I purchased this product and within 2 - 3 months, the popping mechanism went out on the left side. By this time it was too late to return and now I have a 2 slice toaster instead of four. Appearance is nice, but it is not built to last.
Summary: We bought this toaster at Target because it was cheap and looked kind of cute and functional. Plus, it is not a high-tech appliance; all it does is toast so it can't be all that bad, right? No. It is junk. Even on the zero setting, it has burned toast. The dial goes up to 7, but unless you are using frozen bread, if you go above a 3 or 4, you will have black smokey toast. Also, the mechanism for pushing up the toast is shoddy.
Summary: Poor choice, would not recommend. Toaster toasts only one side well. Otherside is under toasted. This happens every time regardless of slot used. Increasing toast setting burns one side before other side is toasted nicely. No way to win with this one... Worst toasting toaster that I have seen in a long time..
Summary: I purchased this toaster a year ago. When you push down the toast, it just doesn't feel right and doesn't go down all the way either. Never has. The cord has never retracted on it's own. You can't hear it pop up at all, so unless you're staring at it you don't know your toast is done. Now the right side won't go down, just pops right back up. If you fight it for a while and get it to lock down, it won't pop back up and will cook the bread until it catches fire!
