Summary: I know similar models to this have not had great reviews but so far this is a great little toaster. It toasts both sides of the toast fairly evenly and looks fabulous. We'll see how long it lasts. But I only paid $15 for my locally so if it dies, I buy another one.
Summary: I read other reviews that said it toasted evenly. Not really. Small size great but limited opening for slices of bread. Great for bagels and sandwich rounds. Like the style. Lighter/darker knob difficult to read.
Summary: I gave this toaster more than 1 star even though I returned it, because if you only toast items that are 4" high, and the other items I mention don't bother you, you may like this toaster a lot.
Summary: I bought this toaster for $30 assuming it would at least perform the functions listed on the box. WRONG! Frozen waffels are soggy on one side. The bagle setting doesn't work (the elements on the outside stay just as hot as the inside). This toaster is worthless. Don't buy it.
Summary: Great toaster. The outside seems to be made of plastic and not stainless steel, FYI. If you buy or bake bread that is very wide, it's a tight squeeze to get the bread into the slots. Doesn't take up too much counter space and isn't hideous or cheap looking, so I'd recommend it.
Summary: It is a very basic nice looking toaster, my old one I had for probably 40 years so this is definately a step up. I like the push up feature so you dont have to dig down to get the bread out of the toaster. Works fine and I am happy.
Summary: If you don't have a lot of counter space this toaster is a great size. I like the bagel setting as the toaster will accommodate normal size or the 100 calorie size bagels. So far it seems to toast pretty evenly on both sides.
Summary: This toaster evenly browns both sides of the bread. It would have been nice if the instructions had contained the info that the center wires heated on bagel setting. The lowering bar feels a little flimsy, but overall I have been very pleased with this toaster.
