Summary: When my fancy Cuisinart toaster died I decided to get a simple toaster and I could have bought this one at a local discount "bricks and mortar" discount store. I ordered this toaster purely for the convenience of having it delivered to my door. Unlike my pricey Cuisinart this toaster makes the bread browner on one side so it toasts unevenly. However this thing does the job well enough and I use it every day.
Summary: I bought this toaster a year ago. It has held up well. It cooks our toast and bagels perfectly. I love the Frozen button feature. It's great for those frozen toaster strudels! Happy with my purchase.
Summary: I gave this toaster more than 1 star even though I returned it, because if you only toast items that are 4" high, and the other items I mention don't bother you, you may like this toaster a lot. I didn't give it more than 2 stars because I think Oster's deviating from the standard 5" maximum bread height is a bad idea.
Summary: Great toaster. The outside seems to be made of plastic and not stainless steel, FYI. If you buy or bake bread that is very wide, it's a tight squeeze to get the bread into the slots. Doesn't take up too much counter space and isn't hideous or cheap looking, so I'd recommend it.
Summary: This toaster has a nice small footprint which is really important with limited counter space. It also looks nice with it's stainless exterior and streamlined design. Also important, the cord comes out of the opposite end from the controls - this may sound obvious or trivial, but I purchased several toasters that had the cord coming out of the same end as the controls, serious design flaw.
