Summary: We all know that toasters no longer last very long. :) But this one is still holding up well after being used every day. So if you are looking for a medium priced toaster I recommend this one.
This toaster went to college! It performed well under pressure! A+!

Summary: I ordered this toaster on 9/13/2012 for my college- aged daughter's birthday (hungry students love bagels!). It was delivered to her dorm (via free shipping) on 9/19/2012. She and her 3 other roommates put this toaster to the test 24/7 for two semesters! Its performance exceeded expectations! My daughter found the toaster to be solid, well made and very nice looking. It easily accepted bagels (Wofermann's signature muffins, breads etc) and toasted them to her liking.
Reviews were right---don't buy this piece of junk!

Summary: I figured that a toaster can't be all that bad. I was wrong. Apparently the Chinese only like their bread toasted on one side. Seriously, that's all this toaster does. I contacted the company, and they said I could mail it back to be repaired or replaced. Not worth the postage. Also, note that the darkness selector doesn't seem to work either. The two selections are under-toasted or burnt.
Summary: Was replacing a toaster that broke down after 8 years of light use, and wanted one that was quick, compact, and had a few feature like bagel and rdefrost mode. This model fit the bill perfectly and the price was rift.
Summary: I like it fine. It looks good. I like my toast well-toasted. My wife likes hers pale. She says the lightest setting isn't light enough. Then the knob started falling off after some months. That's not good. I keep sticking it back on. There's no crumb hinge at the bottom, only a slide-off. I prefer the hinge type. You can really get those clean.
Summary: Feels cheap and light weight but so do the ones on the shelf at Target. Biggest drawback: the slots are nice & wide for bagels, etc -- but don't pop up far enough to remove the bagel easily. You have to reach into the hot toaster with your fingers or a fork or something.
