Summary: This product arrived with a very large dent on the top where the bread is inserted for toast. The item is so damaged that the toast mechanism doesn't work. Something EXTREMELY heavy had to have been dropped on it for this to happen. I am disappointed because now I have to go to Walmart to return the item and they are out of stock everywhere. I hope Walmart refunds my shipping fees too for sending me a damaged item.
Summary: What I like best about this is that it combines a toaster with a toaster oven freeing up precious countertop space and all the while looking great. What I like least is that because it is so small only the smallest foods can be heated up in it. Also, I need to remember to use a lower heat setting and a shorter amount of time because the heating elements are so close to the food that it burns quickly.
Summary: This is a case of trying to do two things with one and falling short with both. The oven uses two quartz rods on both sides of the toast, and the heat is at the rods and does not spread evenly. We tried a couple of Eggos and after 4 cycles in the toaster the centers were burned and one edge on each was raw, untouched by any heat. We then tried to toast a slice of bread. It was half brown, half cold.
Summary: Dollar for dollar this is the best toaster oven on the market , and with the addition of the cancel button it makes it even better. I had my first one for over 10 years without a problem but this new red color ,I had to have . I still have the old one it works fine. If everything worked like a Hamelton Beach it would be a better world.
