There are a lot of people who liked this toaster, but not me.

Summary: There are a lot of people who liked this toaster, and that's why I purchased it. But after trying it at home with my other toaster side by side, I noticed big differences. My old toaster (different brand) has cool sides that also extends over the top. The metal part of the toaster is recessed.
Summary: The only positive thing I can say about this toaster is that it's lightweight and looks nice. It has 1-5 on the settings but it doesn't matter - each slot toasts differently; some totally burnt, some not toasted at all (to the point where you have to turn the bread over to toast the other side).
Excerpt: I don't use toasters too often, but one type that I owned in the past was the Hamilton Beach Perfect Toast Four Slice Toaster. I really like any product made by Hamilton Beach because they're really affordable and they also work really well. This toaster has space for 4 pieces of toast, which is...
Summary: Bought this toaster based upon positive reviews but ended up very disappointed. This "toaster" takes forever. We could probably toast four slices in our old two-slot toaster faster than this 4-slot piece of junk.
Excerpt: After my old four-slice toaster finally went on the fritz after using it for the past twelve years, I looked for a new four-slice, thick bagel capacity model of a different brand for a reasonable price, and this is what I found online.
Summary: This is a nice little toaster for the person who only toasts occasionally. It toasts the bread/bagel/whatever nicely, and the brownness dial provides a good, predictable range. The sides of the toaster do not get hot and the controls are about as intuitive as can be.
