Excerpt: The slots are wide enough to hold just about anything. The crumb tray is really easy to remove and clean, no shaking the toaster upside down. The only drawback is stopping and restarting the toaster manually. If you have it set to 4, and you hit cancel and notice it's not quite brown enough, if you start it again and don't lower the setting it will reset and cook it for the same length of time.
Excerpt: An OK toaster to use....but six months after purchasing this some of the led lights stopped working. and six months later I noticed some of the elements were not fully working, like others I find it does take longer to toast bread and the frozen or bagel setting isn't really that impressive. I've had this a 1 1/2 years now and the ejector spring is not ejecting fully now, need to manually raise. I just expected better from this brand.
Excerpt: This Hamilton Beach toaster cant adjust for a good quality of toast, either too light or burnt. You will be waiting for a long time to get a golden toast in the morning if you are not in a hurry! POPS up untoasted.
Excerpt: Settings for frozen or regular bread or bagels. Bagels and eng. muffins it toasts inner slices and just warms outside crust so not as dried out. Crumb tray right under controls so easily accessible.
Excerpt: I have to agree with some of the reviews below. This toaster takes a long time to toast and is really more of a bread dryer than a toaster. It also feels chintzy and cheap although the aesthetics aren't bad. Would pass on this one. Taking ours back.
Excerpt: The inner elements don't seem to heat as much as the outer ones, so the two sides of each piece of toast are quite uneven. It was a good price, but we did expect better of it. It's going back...
Excerpt: I just purchased this item and am very disappointed with it. I've tried bread and a bagel. For each item i've had to toast twice but even at that the items come out dry and only ever so slightly toasted using level 5. It's good if you want dry bread to make stuffing!
