Summary: Very good toaster. Not cheap but then again think of how many toaster we get rid of cause in a short time frame they don't live up to the expectation. So spend a little and get a great product that will last and do it's job.
Summary: I expect a $90 toaster to not burn one side and leave the other unmarked. Apparently this is an unrealistic expectation with this toaster. My $7 toaster does a better job at making toast than this. Returned to amazon. Do not recommend.
Summary: Nice toaster, unfortunately, after less than 4 years of life, a piece of bread was blocked inside the toaster and burnt one electric wire. Now, toaster operates on one side only. Toaster was very difficult to clean. The plastic gone very sticky quite quickly. Not the best choice you can make !
Summary: I usually wait at least one year before reviewing products. A little over a year, one of the sides stopped toasting. Two months later the other side stopped as well. This toaster is attractive but a real disappointment for any price - and certainly the $80 that I paid for it. I see now the price has been raised to $98!!! As many reviewers have written for many toasters, it seems nearly impossible to buy a toaster that toasts well and evenly and is long-lasting.
Summary: I have had my Dualit soft touch toaster for a little over a year and it is cracking in the plastic area in three different areas. I have never had a toaster do this before. It is not like I have the heat setting up high as it is set at 2. I have read other reviews after my purchase that have the same problem. The reviews are for different colors so it is not only the cream toaster.
Summary: This is a great toaster - at my beach house - and use it all the time and enjoy it's more economical value compared to the more expensive all stainless steel version. Fits my budget and my need for a simple to use toaster with a removable crumb tray that makes sense.
Horrible toaster and terrible brand customer service

Summary: This was the worst performing toaster I've ever used, especially for the price. It cooks very uneven, burning the bottom and barely toasting the top. I thought the first one was defective so I exchanged it and the second one was the same so I contacted dualit and they suggest that maybe my bread was too small and suggested I try using both slots.
Summary: I was given this toaster by my sister-in-law as a birthday gift to replace my $40 Costco toaster that was falling apart. It was really thoughtful of her, however I would like to tell her she shouldn't have wasted her money. I've had my toaster since April, and it already has two cracks in the plastic casing (the first one appeared within a couple of months of receiving it). The bagel function really doesn't work. The bread toasts unevenly and burns on the bottom.
Summary: I bought this lovely looking toaster in March 2012. It was quite an extravagant purchase, $80 for a toaster, but i reasoned that it was a good quality brand that would last me a lifetime. Then last week after using it one morning i noticed it had cracked really badly from both screws on one side. Never mind i thought, i'll contact Dualit and they will fix it.
Summary: Plastic housing cracked on 2 ends so the metal cover is now separated from the toaster body. This toaster does not toast evenly nor is it consistent. If you use it more than one time in succession, the second time is much hotter, so you must adjust the "thermostat" each time. The white plastic housing stains as well. Spilled a bit of coffee on it and the brown spots are still there after months (and many wipe downs). Pretty junky for the price. Has not lasted 2 years.
