Summary: Returned as this toaster is not a long slot toaster as it would not even handle a small slice of sourdough...love this brand but, this toaster unfortunately, gave it 2 stars for the sleek design though.
Summary: Most toastings require to be put down twice to achieve basic browness, one on level six, and the second on level one. Other than that, the variety of offerings is exceellent, from defrost, to bagel, to reheat. Nice addition to counter aesthetics.
Summary: For toast, do not go over 3 unless you want to start a fire, toast is REALLY blackened on the middle setting. We have not tried bagels yet, and I suppose that is what the higher settings are for.
Pros: This toaster does a nice job at what it is supposed to do, make toast. It has very good level settings, just less than 2 1/2 seems to be about right for medium toast. It has a soft, gentle pop-up when the toast is done, unlike my old toaster that nearly threw the toast up and onto your plate.
Excerpt: I bought this because it was the only stainless steel toaster in stock at the store that day. However, I have not been dissapointed! This toaster makes toast, bagels, etc. quickly and without much work. It's big enough to fit even the fattest bagels, but still toasts thin slices of bread.
beautiful stainless steel toaster that gives you perfect toast

Excerpt: The delonghi CTH2003 2 slice toaster is the best of both worlds: both functional and asthetically pleasing! This is one toaster that would look nice sitting out on a counter! The toaster is coated in stainless steel and is a very sleek design that makes it fit right in on the countertop.
Excerpt: This toaster is terrific. If you cannot get perfect toast every time, using the Delonghi, you shouldn't even be walking around! It has easy to use controls, an easy to clean crumb tray, and it looks sharp. The brushed stainless fits in perfectly with my retro kitchen.
