  • Summary: This oven had a defective oven thermostat. Tested the oven using an oven thermometer. It would only heat up to 225 degrees. Returned the oven to the Costco store for a full refund.
  • Pros: looks nice sitting on the counter.
  • Cons: defective oven thermostat will not cook food at the correct temperature

Others are correct it does under cook

Bilal, Costco
24 September 2014
  • Summary: Although the toaster under cooks compared to my old toaster - it's not that bad. However, I am giving the item low rating because of the number of review requests I've received in my inbox - 10 emails in two days.
  • Pros: user friendly looks nice
  • Cons: under cooks slightly

maybe my unit was a faulty unit, but this appears to be a design flaw

Sean Li "Sean", Amazon
24 June 2014
  • Summary: i advice NOT to purchase this product. i have received mine and there are two issues: 1. very lose temperature dial. the temperature knob is lose by 40 degree so when it shows 300 degrees, it could been 260 or 340. this seems to be popular issues with this product but some reviewer claim their unit have solid knob. so check yours. 2. very, and i mean VERY dangerous. the back plate wasn't insulated from the heating element (at least in my unit).

Cuisinart Toaster Poor Quality

Colton, Costco
11 June 2014
  • Summary: I bought this oven against other reviews since we have other Cuisinart kitchen items which are of high quality and have been very reliable and useful. However, this oven is lacking in quality and the first time I used it was to bake biscuits and both the top and bottom heating elements came on, making it useless to bake. Called Cuisinart and they said it was defective and return it, which is what I plan to do, not exchange for another.

  • Pros: good digital controls excellent plate warmer because of no insulation
  • Cons: under cooks everything does not bake pizza well

  • Summary: I bought a Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven Broiler seven months ago. I like the way this model # CTO-140PC look and easy to operate. The price was great with the coupon from Costco. I used the Cuisinart so much I kept it sitting on my center island in the kitchen. I did not put it away in the pantry like the other appliances. Well I am writing this review now because my Convection Toaster Oven Broiler stop working.
  • Pros: great price. nice size oven and many functions it was easy to clean
  • Cons: it stop working less than a year

Love my oven!

shoppersg100, Costco
16 May 2014
  • Summary: I had never used a confection oven before and I was honestly wowed! I mostly 'bake' in it. (chicken, fish, meat) Plus use the broil feature for the meat at the end. EVERYTHING is so tender and juicy! I had used a George Foreman for many years because it was quick, but didn't realize how dried out my food was at times. With this confection oven it is almost error free. Truely, mouth watering food - who would have thought a little oven could change your world of cooking?
  • Pros: results: tender/juicy everything!
  • Cons: the controls are not user friendly!
