Summary: The best thing about this oven was the roomy interior. The worst was that it did not get hot. After an hour of preheating, an oven thermometer revealed that the temperature was still only 325. Even when I set it at the highest temperature, it never got hotter than about 350.
Summary: Pros: Looks nice Cons: The crumb tray at the bottom is inside the oven itself and so any small particle of bread gets burnt since it is directly below the bottom heating bars. My old one had a tray that allowed crumbs to drop below the oven itself and were isolated.
Summary: We had a TPB-60N for 2-3 years. It worked OK until earlier this week, when my wife used it to crisp up some taco shells. They caught on fire. When I opened up the door to try to remove the the burning food, the flames surged due to the infusion of oxygen.
Summary: A replacement for an older and less expensive toaster oven. Having owned other Cuisinart products and liking their warranty, this was a choice I made out of a lot of other brands and models with similar features I had looked at.
Summary: We owned a Cuisinart toaster oven for 12 years and loved it dearly. It was used at least once a day whether for simple toasting or as a small oven. Our whole family loved it and then one day it simply stopped working. We still mourn it.
