Excerpt: You always hear it,you never expect it.A toaster under the Christmas tree.Well, here I am.Yet my toaster is thankfully motivated.Strangely enough,I only had one old toaster that broke months ago.Since I toasted bread in a pan,and yes,it got burned a lot.Why didn’t I remember or motivated myself to buy another …
Summary: I bought this model at Costco and not here but they chose to discontinue carrying this model. I bought two since they were having a blow out sale and its a good thing I did. The first one lasted about a year before the toast level indicator light began to flicker and then burnout out. Never did the first one evenly toast, as others have commented it was necessary to sometimes turn the bread around to finish browning.
Summary: not the quality you will expect from cuisinart. the first one i bought, the led light went off after 2 months. i was sent a second unit and it arrived all banged up. the third unit i have and am using. it is okay but as i said, not the quality you would expect from cuisinart.
Summary: I love the toaster and the adjustable settings, so far so good. I would have given 5stars except for the fact that the light display to show which level you chose, went out after only a few months. But as far as the product works, I cannot complain.
Summary: It has been over two and half years since I bought this toaster and it still works like a charm without any problem. It is a quality product... I would recommend this to everyone. The only thing is that Cuisinart didn't have this one in stainless steel color. So, i had to settle with white one.
Summary: Not a lot of bells and whistles, this toaster does it's job. Simple and easy to operate. The wide slots are really nice for bagels and thick bread. The outside is cool to the touch which is a nice feature. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a simple, inexpensive toaster that does its' job.
Summary: Works great. Just what we wanted. We've had it about 2 years and we are still happy with it. We toast bagels, English muffins, bread, French bread....even frozen bread items. They all turn out great. Easy clean crumb catchers.
Summary: This is the best toaster by far that I've ever owned. I love the clean look, the wide slots, the various function buttons and the reliable temperature settings. I especially like the fact that the levers slide up to help you extract smaller items. I bought my Mom the same model 2 years ago and she continues to be as happy with it as I am with my new one, which was purchased about a month ago.
Summary: I honestly don't think ANY company cares to make a GOOD quality, affordable toaster these days. We've been through about 4 toasters in the past few years, with most dying off and ALL have been made with cheap plastic casings and heating wires that don't all work. We actually had to have Cuisinart send us another one of these after we got it because most of the wires didn't heat up/turn red. The replacement is holding up ok.
