  • Summary: We tossed an older one from another manufacturer that wouldn't toast adequately for home made bread (Less sugar).
  • Pros: The toast is consistent and doesn't burn the second set.
  • Cons: Lights stay on when not in use. We never unplug it.

style over function

Larry, reviews.lowes.com
2 June 2011
  • Summary: I am 58 years old and have always believed that the function of a product and the customer service of it's manufacture is of primary importance. We own several cousinart products (coffee maker, can opener, mini chopper) and are very pleased with them . The name brand Cousinart to me has always stood for quality so paying more for an item that lasts longer and works better has always been my choice.
  • Pros: good paperweigt
  • Cons: Low quality, Not durable, terrible value

What a piece of junk!

Steve, reviews.lowes.com
6 October 2010
  • Summary: Broken after 3 months. One side burned, the other untoasted. Lost reciept so no support from Lowes or Cuisinart. "Chrome" turns black after a few weeks - always looks dirty. Labling comes off buttons. I'll NEVER buy Cuisinart again.
