Summary: This is one of the higher end toaster you can find in the market. For around $80 to toast your bread and bagel, this better be a pretty darn perfect toaster. At first, I was surprised at the automatic “lever-less” function of this toaster.
Summary: I bought this toaster about two months ago. It looks great. The finish is easy to keep clean. It also toasts great. Toasts the whole slice of bread, not just the center. The only problem I've had is that when I use white bread or thin bread, the self lowering slots do not pull the bread down.
Excerpt: This is a nice looking toaster that I recently received as a gift. It came from my Crate and Barrel wedding registry. I was so excited when this came in the mail; I immediately threw out my 15 year old failing toaster. This is a nice-looking metal (looks like stainless steel ) toaster.
Summary: At the end of the day, this is just another toaster. I was replacing a very old, inexpensive toaster and there is very little difference in the quality of toast with this new, quite expensive model.
Excerpt: Overall this toaster is great. Appearance and easy to maintain (just wipe and your good). Slots are wide, so that my bagels don't get caught on sides. I love it for both toast and bagels. Everything gets cooked on both sides, instead of just one side how most toasters do.
Excerpt: I don't love this cuisinart metal classic 2 slice toaster, but I certainly don't hate it. It does the job - it toasts my toast, bagel, etc. I like that it has a retro look to it, in my kitchen it's a fun thing to have on the counter. But is it worth the price tag it carries?
