I like this toaster.

Summary: So far this has been a very good toaster for bread or for English muffins. My only negative comment is that the external surface gets warmer than I would like. It is not hot enough to cause a burn but probably would melt the plastic bread wrapper if it was too close. I do have to lift up on the handle to pull the smaller muffin pieces out when toasted. For safety it has a short cord but reaches the outlets I have easily. And it is not too large on my counter.
Summary: I purchased this toaster after using the same one my mom had and loved it so I bought one for myself. It arrived in two days and I could not be happier with it. After buying Proctor Silex toasters that were cheap and didn't last I decided to go with a household name in Black & Decker to save myself some time and money. Do not hesitate to purchase this toaster as you will not be disappointed!!!
Summary: I HAVE ONLY USED THIS PRODUCT FOR ONE WEEK. IT HAS WIDE SLOTS AND SETTINGS THAT ARE EASY TO USE LOCATED UP FRONT, ALONG WITH ANOTHER KNOB FOR CONTROLLING THE BROWNING. FOR THE MONEY IT WAS THE BEST TOASTER I EVER BOUGHT. I ALSO, ALWAYS ORDER AT LEAST $35.00 WORTH OF MERCHANDISE AND GET FREE SHIPPING.
Summary: The toaster functions well and I do not have cold spots or burned areas on my bagels/toast/English muffins. I can lift the English muffins out if they are too small, which prevents me burning my fingers. The slots accommodate bagels with ease. Of course the stainless steel finish matching the rest of my kitchen was a big plus. The only shortcoming I have noticed is that the crumb tray does not catch everything.
Summary: Loud pop. Wisp of smoke. Electric burning aroma. Loud buzz as display locks on 'Cancel.' Pulled the plug to stop this sensory extravaganza. That was the last time I tried to make toast. Purchased November 2013; expired April 2014.
Summary: You're probably better off going to a store to see the toasters and make a selection. This feels cheaply made and one side of the toast gets darker than the other. It works ok and I like the option to select "frozen" because the waffle turns out ok; just darker on one side.
Summary: This is a good toaster. I love bagels and freeze them as soon as I get home from the bagel shop. This toaster has a setting for frozen and for bagels. Does a good job on toast also. The re-heat option is nice in case your timing is off when cooking bacon and eggs on Sunday morning!
Summary: I really like the features on this toaster and have seen many for the same price with fewer features. The two things I really like on it are the removable crumb tray and that it has lights to show which settings are being used. The reheat setting is also handy when the items in the toaster are done, before the rest of the meal. It is well worth the $18 price I paid for it.
