Summary: The under the cabinet panel not holding the toaster oven, the opening handle fell off in about three months, the top heater rod stopped working i a year. I have never bought anything more horrible.
Summary: We bought this for two reasons. One, previous two versions of this B&D toaster-ovens had done very well by us -- although each lasted approximately 7 years only (long enough in this day and age).
Summary: Getting the spacers in place and latching the toaster onto the hanger was an absolute nightmare requiring 2 people and 3 hours. We nearly broke one of the hooks or prongs that latch onto the hanger apparatus and had to straighten it out with pliers.
Summary: I had an older model for over 10 years that died a slow death over the course of several years. I finally replaced it with this model and I am very satisfied with it. I expect it to last as long as my old one.... 11/25/2013 Update : The glass shattered on the oven door last night .
Summary: Had this a couple years now, pleased enough with it. Would have liked one a little larger, but the lovely lady of the house over ruled me. She didn't want it taking up counter space. I'd buy it again. Easy to clean. Toasts bread well.
Summary: Can not say enough good things about it. Big enough to replace much of the wasted power of heating a big oven. Doesn't take up counter space. Works great. Heats quickly. Good price. Seems to toast more evenly than other smaller ones. Rack slides out far enough for convenience.
Summary: This Black & Decker Under Cabinet Space Saver Toaster Oven is a very convenient space saver. It took about 10 minutes to install. We ran into one minor hitch - the screws were 3 inches too short for our application. None of the mega home stores carry metric screws that are 3 inches long.
Summary: I bought this for my mom for Christmas as her old one of 15 years wasn't working well anymore. There are so few under the counter options that I thought why not, and she uses it pretty much for light duty. And after reading the installation problems, I avoided putting it in for three months.
