Summary: Black smoke and a terrible smell occurred each time I tried to use the toaster...much more than expected when running for the first time. Returned before even trying it with food because I was afraid of a fire.
Summary: This toaster is okay, but it is bigger than I expected, so it takes up extra counter space. Also, the lift up feature doesn't lift the toast up much at all. It doesn't toast evenly on each side, but it still toasts better than my old one. I will keep it, but I wish I had just gone with the basic stainless toaster.
Summary: This toaster is the biggest piece of junk I ever bought! The first one I received the handle wouldn't stay down- called the company and they blew me off saying I needed to contact Amazon. Contacted Amazon who has GREAT customer service and they said to send it back and they would send another one.
Summary: I bought the toaster using the remainder of my dining dollars from college for about $35 (had extra dining dollars). It does the job fairly well; it toasts almost evenly (part of the top of my chocolate chip eggos is still pale so I rotate it). The only thing that I have to get used to is the new smell that comes out every time I toast. The instructions says it'll go away but I after a month I can still smell it.
Summary: It toast to perfection. Is wide enough to toast bagels. Toasts evenly, no need to pop it out & turn the bread over as in other toasters. I'm pretty sure this toaster can take every bit of moisture out of the bread without burning it. I like that. No more half toasted half burned spots as with my last toaster which by the way I'm glad it broke, so that I can now know what it's like to have a true toaster.
Summary: This is an excellent product. It's very nice and retro looking and works really well. I love the fact that it has a cancel button so anytime you want to stop the toasting process, you hit the button and the bread pops up. My last toaster did not have this feature so I am very pleased.
Summary: I'd never put any thought into buying a toaster before... which is probably why my old one didn't meet my needs. (It made toast, but that's it. It also mangled my English muffins and sparked randomly). After a little more research, I found my red Aroma toaster. It does all of the things I want a toaster to do. My English muffins no longer get "trapped" on the way up and for the first time ever, I can toast bagels and they come out the right texture.
Summary: If all you care about is how the toaster looks then this is fine. It is a good looking toaster which is why I purchased it, however, the performance is terrible. Tried several types of bread and settings and the results were the same every time, toasted on one side but almost raw on the other. And no it was not set on the bagel setting. In fact it is the inside faces of both slices that would not brown.
Summary: Toaster works decently enough - pay for what you get. Was disappointed, however, that it arrived from Amazon with cracks in the painted casing. Was going to send it back for a replacement, but was too much of a hassle (which is why I bought it online in the first place instead of in the store).
Summary: the best thing about the aroma toaster was the color red was not pleased that toaster did not toast entire item was very upset when after 7 months the lever would not stay down - did not have the patience to hold down the lever for toast-one star for the color
