Summary: Really great price for what you get. There is no support when pulling the rack out so you have to use 2 hands. Wouldn't bake desserts though due to under cooking. Otherwise it works great for day to day stuff.
Summary: The first thing I noticed about this oven out of the box was the quality of build. It is made up of almost all metal with hardly any plastic. The door is nice and solid and it comes with several trays that were not mentioned in the description. I bought this to replace a more expensive electrolux oven and this one is a lot better for the price. I love the digital push button features compared to the turn knobs of the last one.
Summary: I am not terribly picky as a buyer, but i do like quality. I did some research, this looked great to replace our office toaster. Lots of features, good price, name brand. I bought it. It has a lot of nice features, it can make a small pizza due to the rounded back, has convection, etc. But guess what, it can't toast bread. The closest you can get is put it onto Broil, and prepare to wait a long time.
Summary: OK works well and great for pizza's and toasting grill etc, but after 9 months of owning the door hinge broke and to have it repaired under warranty will cost shipping too and fro the Sanyo service department.
Summary: This unit started out great but the shoddy workmanship soon took a toll. The door hinge broke within the first month. After calling the Sanyo number, I was told that since it wasn't an electrical problem, it wasn't covered by the warranty even though the unit is only 2 months old. Don't buy.
Summary: My husband purchased this Sanyo toaster/convection oven for me for Christmas 2010. Although I'd read poor reviews about its reliability, it was a good price and I'd thought I'd give it a try. I was very pleased with the oven's performance. It had a sleek appearance, took a 12" pizza although it was compact in size, and came with a thorough set of instructions. Using it took some getting used to, as it works very differently than a regular toaster oven.
Summary: I am enjoying the Sanyo SK-CV8S convection toaster oven. I got it for Christmas, and have been using it for everything. I don't heat up the range oven. It makes perfect toast--but you must not follow their directions of oven placement. It works well with the rack in the middle--the level 5. One thing I like about it is you can set it and forget it. Obviously, I watch my toast, as it can vary with the moisture in the bread.
Summary: I just purchased this product few days ago after I moved into a Bachelor Room APT. It doesn't have a kitchen, so I wanted to find a kitchen product that will bake my foods. I found out that Sanyo Toaster Oven has multi-functions that will cook/bake/grill the foods. The frozen pizza that I baked the first time on this toaster oven tasted amazing (nice, hot, and crisp)! I highly recommend for people who doesn't have a kitchen oven at their house/apartment.
Summary: I used to use another Sanyo oven in Japan and I bought this oven here in USA. This is exactly what I expected. Bigger oven makes our dish verstile, too. Especially 12 inch pizza function can feed my hunbry two boys. I really want to recommend this easy to use oven for families who need to use it frequently.
