Summary: I wanted to replace our slice toaster with a toaster oven - as soon as this arrived i took it out of the box and tested it, only to find that the timer is SUPER loud and annoying, and once you set it, you can't turn it off until it winds all the way down. You can turn off the toast/bake function, but it still goes 'TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK..." until it winds down. Really annoying. I am returning it, but now I have to pay the return shipping. Ugh.
Summary: The toaster oven is really small inside. When toasting bagels, they many times become charred because it touches the heating element at the top of the toaster. As it says, only really good for toasting slices of bread or something pretty flat.
Summary: I DON'T HAVE TOO MUCH COUNTER SPACE AND WANTED A SMALL TOASTER/OVEN...THIS ONE TURNED OUT TO BE JUST PERFECT FOR 2 SLICES OF BREAD...IT IS EASY TO USE AND KEEP CLEAN TOO. IT IS WORTH THE MONEY...DON'T HESITATE TO BUY IT.
Summary: All i wanted was some thing to toast my bread and I like cheese toast so instead of another toaster I ordered this. I dose a great job. You should know that when you set the times you cannot stop it so if you set to toast and set your timer for to long you have to turn off the toast setting and let the timer tick down. Not a real problem, if you leave toaster nob on on a setting the coils will continue to heat. All in all a great little no bells and whistles toaster.
Summary: ...little toaster oven. We live in an RV, so I don't have much counter space. Most 4-slice toaster ovens are too deep, so I can't open the door all the way. Even the toaster oven with the slide up door had too large a footprint for my counter space. This little baby is perfect. Its only defect is being too shallow to bake a potato, say. I toast bread and sliced bagels. I toast sandwiches with ham slices on one piece of bread and cheese on the other piece.
Summary: It's very hard to find toaster ovens for only 2 slices these days. Most are for 4 to even 6 slices and can't fit on my counter. I bought this one because it fit BUT the height is SOOOO low that nothing but a thin piece of bread will cook in it without bursting into flames - a kaiser roll actually touches the top heating element. Needless to say, I sent this directly back as I really didn't want my house to burn down.
