Summary: Plan on taking 5 minutes to toast your first slice of bread. This unit must suffer from low wattage. I go through this type of toaster oven every few years since I never turn on my regular oven and don't own a pop up toaster.
Summary: I love KitchenAid products, and have a KitchenAid Clothes Dryer I love. This convection oven has many problems. One is that every item I tried to bake in it has burned. I have baked/burned brownies, bread, etc.
Summary: First time was within 9 months when it just stopped completely and would not show any power for toasting or baking. KitchenAid replaced that one under warranty and 30 months later toaster portion works but oven part doesn't.
Summary: Not sure why I came to a decision to purchase this oven, but since I opened this, I haven't used my regular oven. I use this all the time and I can cook my dinner in less time for my family. I've had this since August 2014 and I haven't had any problems. It cooks, toast, warm up food really easy.
Summary: I was a little hesitant to order something like this to be shipped to my home. I'm so glad I did, I didn't have to go to the store! it arrived even sooner than anticipated. This is how I will be doing most of my shopping from now on!
Summary: I have done my share of research before deciding on this KitchenAid 12-inch. My last one (a different brand) lasted 10 years. It was great but their current style does not work for my kitchen. Time to try a new style and this one is a bit bigger too. So far so good!

Summary: Very attractive, (retro design with analogue controls), useful and efficient as can cook sizeable convection oven meals without cranking up the big wall oven, and does small toaster jobs, grilled sandwiches as well.
the unit itself works okay but the design doesn't work ...

Summary: the unit itself works okay but the design doesn't work for the location I had in mind. The door does not open all the way down to the counter. That slight angle it stays at is enough to burn your arm if you aren't very aware of how you negotiate your hot food in and out of the oven.
