Summary: It works ok as a toaster and it works ok for a toaster oven, not fantastic, but a solid ok. The main issue we have with it is that it seems to generate more heat on the top of it (even with the toaster slot closed) than a normal toaster or toaster oven, so we have to pull it out from under our...

Summary: This has been redesigned since I bought the last model (because I like the red.) There is only one tray to catch crumbs and use as a baking pan. There is no hook to automatically push the rack forward, so you have to use a fork so you don't burn yourself.

Summary: A conventional (wide slot) toaster and toaster oven in one. It saves space and both features function well. It also features an audible alarm to let you know your toast has popped up. I don't know that this is a necessary feature and it would certainly prevent one from making a stealthy breakfast.
Summary: I use to have a toaster and then I bought the Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven. I now wonder how I ever lived without a Toaster Oven. It looks lovely with my stainless steel appliances.and my absolute black counter tops. It is easy to operate and makes great toast. The oven is my new go to appliance.
Summary: Uneven toasting. Very disappointing. I had a few of the original models. They worked great. The new model scorches the rear 1/3 of items placed on the bottom rack (see photos below), unlike the original model which always toasted evenly. I've had this model for 5 months.
Summary: I purchased this item only intending to get a toaster but when I saw the oven combo I took a chance. Glad I did! Very nice looking on my counter. Fits in with SS appliances large & small even though it's not. Works beautifully. Slider moves easily left to right to choose toaster or oven.
