Summary: Safety hazard. We bought one about 6 months ago for second home. After it had burned roles and toast we jokingly called it The Cremator. We had to constantly watch it like a hawk or else it burnt food. Today my wife tried reheating thin cut french fries and she forgot to watch it.
Summary: I purchased this toaster oven a few months ago and I really don't like it. It is so small, plus, the top heating element is so close to the food, I am unable to get some of my smallest Pyrex dishes in it. I would not purchase it again. I just purchased a larger model of a different brand.
Summary: This does not toast bread. It converts bread into lumps of charcoal. The toasting rack is too close to the bottom burners, and the door lets out too much heat. So the result is that your bread is burning on the bottom in the back.
Excerpt: I have not had much luck with toaster ovens until I bought the Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven. It is simple and very easy to use with not too many knobs. The pictures on the knob section to choose oven or toaster is very easy to understand. It heats up really fast which I love.
Excerpt: The toaster is an okay product. It does what it's supposed to do. No bells or whistles. If you let too many crumbs gather in the under part, you get a burn smell and it's not very easy to clean. I use it on bake at least once a week and it's great when you don't want to start up the oven.
Excerpt: This toaster does toast things well but there are more than a few problems. From time to time the timer will just stop working halfway though counting down, which has burned entirely too many things.
