I have kids who use this oven regularly and the handle stays cool!!

Summary: I compared reviews and features of toaster ovens of all brands for months before buying this oven. The negatives with the other models outweighed any issues I could identify with this one. The biggest concern I had was the handle getting hot on other models and brands. I have kids who use this oven regularly and the handle stays cool!!! Also, I love that you can remove the bottom of the oven and clean it from the outside. It is very easy.
Summary: I had Black & Decker Toast-R-Ovens for 40 years, but this one didn't fit the bill..The words and numbers on dials were hard to see...Had to buy the Caphalon one which I really love and it's all digital and easy to read and use.
Summary: Hard to cook something on this toast-r-oven when the temperature and function lettering have all wiped off. I used water and a paper towel to wipe the front area clean, and all the numbers and wording came off like cheap magic marker. Now this toaster oven is worthless to me.
Summary: I did tons of research before I purchased this. Great product. Easy to clean. Cooks evenly and fast. Fits a standard disposable half roaster pan (13" x 9") which I use very often. Only drawback is it takes up very much space on the counter. Check the exact measurements before you buy!
Summary: My old B&D toaster oven died so I replaced it with this one to use for a toaster and an oven in the summer. I can't toast anything without standing right there watching it or the toast burns. Little room on the knob to adjust toast settings. The third time I used it, my toast caught on fire! An actual flame of about five inches!!! Thankfully I was standing right in front of it and was able to quickly put the flame out. I thought it was a defect.
