Summary: I have had a gc2 two-man tent for 35 years. I sent it back to Robert Saunders to have a full net horseshoe door fitted, but also keeping the original which is also the same shape. This one I can zip up during the winter months and in the hot summers on the continent near lakes the tent has good ventilation so no more midges. It's a great tent and has held out in all weathers. Summary: I waited since November 8th to get this tent and finally it came from England. This tent is very similiar to my former Diamond Brand Mountain Home 2-person tent in design. It has an elongated geodesic design with four 8.5 mm aluminum shockcorded poles that slide through non-continuous mesh sleeves. The rainfly is polyester and the tent body is ripstop nylon with a three inch nylon tafetta tub-style floor.
