  • Summary: Not really a strength or a weakness, it's both. The tent NEEDS it's "optional" footprint groundsheet. This is a tailored super light groundsheet that has loops that fit over all the pole ends/loops - meaning that you don't even need to put extra pegs in for it.
  • Pros: It's easy to erect once you get the hang of it. The feed sleeves are continuous and end in a closed re-enforced pocket at one end. The poles are asymmetric, having a smooth rounded end that you feed through the sleeves, such that if it snags, it will not tear the material. Note: Do not stake out ...
  • Cons: The biggest weakness is the the instructions that tell you to stake out the base first. I have tried and tried, and you simply cannot erect this tent by doing this.
