Summary: Pros: The tent is big and roomy and well ventilated. It was not as easy to set up as the description claimed, but I was still able to do it in about 5 minutes, with another person's help. Cons: The tent is advertised as having an "integrated rain fly" that "does not require separate assembly or installation.
Summary: I purchased this 8 person tent for two senior adults and a large German Shepherd Dog. We needed the ease of setup, which is great, and roominess to accommodate a queen size cot with a blow-up mattress, and all of the other stuff we feel we need for camping. After reading the setup instructions, and following them exactly, it went up quite easily with one person.
Summary: Big enough for 2 queen mattress. I did the set up alone ( women with kids aged 2, 4 and 7) in 2 minutes. Super easy to put it back on the bag. It is not heavy for a woman I loved it. I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't have a rainfly.
Summary: This is the best fastest tent I have ever used. The height is amazing...No more bending in the tent. The size for number of people is a little misleading. I would not try to fit 8 people in this tent. But fits 6 with gear great. I have also used it with 3 sleeping cots and a queen size Air bed and loads of gear...still loads of room. The best part about this tent is the ceiling. In other tents that are not stitched at the top, with a fly, it's usually very cold at night.
Summary: My husband and I love this tent! It takes (realistically) about 5 minutes to set up or take down - without wind a single person could do this on his or her own. (With wind, I suggest getting better stakes.) We didn't choose to buy the rain fly, but this tent stood up to rain storms pretty well. It's huge, perfect for glamping, but collapses down to fit in my hatchback very nicely.
Summary: I wanted this tent partially because I wanted one that could be set up quick even in the dark if you need to. It's very simple. The pain was getting it back in the package, but tents usually are if you ask me. Water from the roof leaked through just from the dew so I would imagine it would be terrible in the rain. I'm buying a tarp or something to cover the roof.
