Summary: Honestly, this TV looks good. It's cheap, its good quality, and the build looks pretty cool. The picture quality isn't great but what do you expect for a TV at such a bargain. I will say this. The remote has a YPbPr1 and YPbPr2 input button, and is advertised as having component input. IT DOES NOT! There is no RGYB input connectors for component. Kind of disappointing for someone who has a Wii and wants better than standard RCA. That ticked me off!
Summary: In the rush to push out televisions that are bigger, smarter, guzillion ppi; those of us that just want to watch tv are getting lost. This Westinghouse has simple controls, thank heavens, and a crisp, rich picture. The price was very economical. Want to watch TV? This ain't a bad choice.
Not 3D capable. No volume control on audio out!! Great PC/VGA input support and warranty service!!

Summary: Can't say this is an unbiased review seeing as how we got ours for only 200$ - we originally opted for a used 32" 768p westinghouse TV here on amazon about a year ago which failed. This is what we got it replaced with under warranty!!! So we're pretty happy. PROS: - Read another review which points out that it does very well with fast moving video - no "trails".
Summary: This is a great everyday Family TV. I watch a lot of sports and this is PERFECT. Sound is 4/5, not action movie in a theater quality but if you have surround sound, which I do not, I guess it doesn't matter. The HD refresh is amazing and I lvoe it. Perfect size and the stand is perfect for my fireplace mantle. 100% recommended!!!!
A Solid Off-brand TV with Audio (and a Few Other) Issues
The Brantasm "BA", Amazon
25 June 2013
Summary: By off-brand I mean a TV that isn't top-tier like Sony, Samsung and the like. My mind works better in pros in cons so I'll list it out for you. Cons: - The audio is terrible. From the middle of the volume level to its peak, there is little to no change. There is no headphone jack to plug in smaller external speakers, so I bought a stereo (red and white) cable adapter to plug in my own speakers.
Summary: I was looking to replace my dinosaur Toshiba projector TV and this came across my lap on Groupon. Upon first arrival it looked great; slim, lightweight and stylish. Although all I was looking for was a cheap 1080p replacement. Sound is fine for the TV and the picture is good too. My only gripe with the TV is with the Xbox, to use a surround sound system and HDMI, it resets the Xbox when you flip over to the HDMI. And also programming the SYNERGY V remote with RCN.
Summary: There is nothing smart about this TV, which is a given for the low budget market this TV is targeted for. The build is simple with no frill. About 2/3 of the TV is slim but other 1/3 fairly thick The picture good is good and the sound is surprisingly good. The sound is better then our 55" Toshiba. The blacks are not that great, definitely not true black but more then acceptable Being 120HZ it can handle most motion without blur.
Summary: Like the picture quality and sound, only dislike is not as many standard cord inputs for dvd player/gaming systems without using a converter box to HDMI cable to connect to the tv from my old 19" element tv. Otherwise highly satisfied with my westinghouse tv.
Summary: I am very pleased with this TV, I have a smaller than average room and it fits beautifully. The picture for my movies and the shows I stream on Amazon are fantastic, plus the 120 hz makes the refresh rate fantastic for gaming. My only concern with it was the needed tweeking on the sound because certain dialouge for some shows and games would be very hard to hear without causing a complaint to a neighbor.
