Summary: I bought the tv in March. Starting about a month ago, TV would turn on and off by itself, sometimes it would just not want to turn on at all, and others it would stay on, but it would be "possessed" (volume would go up and down, input settings would change, etc). Tried calling customer service (hard to get because they admitted they had phone issues... For over a week) and they determined it was a faulty unit and advised I return it and they'd send me a new one ...
Summary: Honestly, this TV looks good. It's cheap, its good quality, and the build looks pretty cool. The picture quality isn't great but what do you expect for a TV at such a bargain. I will say this. The remote has a YPbPr1 and YPbPr2 input button, and is advertised as having component input. IT DOES NOT! There is no RGYB input connectors for component. Kind of disappointing for someone who has a Wii and wants better than standard RCA. That ticked me off!
Summary: In the rush to push out televisions that are bigger, smarter, guzillion ppi; those of us that just want to watch tv are getting lost. This Westinghouse has simple controls, thank heavens, and a crisp, rich picture. The price was very economical. Want to watch TV? This ain't a bad choice.
Not 3D capable. No volume control on audio out!! Great PC/VGA input support and warranty service!!

Summary: Can't say this is an unbiased review seeing as how we got ours for only 200$ - we originally opted for a used 32" 768p westinghouse TV here on amazon about a year ago which failed. This is what we got it replaced with under warranty!!! So we're pretty happy. PROS: - Read another review which points out that it does very well with fast moving video - no "trails".
Summary: This was a spontaneous purchase I have to admit with no research done as I normally would on electronics. However, it has surpassed my expectations and one of the best TVs in our house. The quality is great and the price was amazing. Really happy this was one quick purchase that worked out for the better.
Summary: This is probably the worst TV I have ever owned. The remote quit working about 2 months after I got it. I was told to ship it to California and they would fix it. OK all is well except the shipping and crating cost almost $200 and I only paid $322 for the TV. Do not think that you are buying from the old standard of Westinghouse quality. They sold the name to a Chinese co. that truly does not care about the people that buy their product.
Summary: this product has a great price, great picture, doesn't take up as much room as we thought we replaced our 36" regular tube tv with this one and it takes up less room, as it is closer to the wall, The picture is what you would hope to get with a LED TV..
How do I give it 0 Stars? On my THIRD Replacement in 8 months!!!

Summary: Well, after buying a Westinghouse 40' LED 8 months ago, I am now on my SECOND REPLACEMENT tv under their "warranty" and this time they sent me a brand new one (not refurbished). Plugged it in and all I got was a distorted picture and red squiggly lines across it (in every mode). The first time my original Westinghouse went out was 4 months after I bought it..
Summary: I purchased this TV in December 2012. Arrived promptly and in good shape. 6 months later the right half of the screen started getting colored lines, TV would warm up and be OK in a few minutes. By 7th month no picture on right side. Still under warranty, so contact Westinghouse. After supplying info and pictures they issued a Return Merchandise Authorization code and would replace TV. HERE IS THE CATCH - only place to return to is in California, I live in Virginia.
