Summary: The TV works well and was great value for the money spent. I give it 4 stars because the color is difficult to manage. Even after adjusting - the colors are still a bit off. I'm only using it as a gaming monitor so I'm not terribly bothered by it.
Summary: I bought the tv in March. Starting about a month ago, TV would turn on and off by itself, sometimes it would just not want to turn on at all, and others it would stay on, but it would be "possessed" (volume would go up and down, input settings would change, etc). Tried calling customer service (hard to get because they admitted they had phone issues... For over a week) and they determined it was a faulty unit and advised I return it and they'd send me a new one ...
Summary: Honestly, this TV looks good. It's cheap, its good quality, and the build looks pretty cool. The picture quality isn't great but what do you expect for a TV at such a bargain. I will say this. The remote has a YPbPr1 and YPbPr2 input button, and is advertised as having component input. IT DOES NOT! There is no RGYB input connectors for component. Kind of disappointing for someone who has a Wii and wants better than standard RCA. That ticked me off!
Summary: I purchased this TV in December 2012. Arrived promptly and in good shape. 6 months later the right half of the screen started getting colored lines, TV would warm up and be OK in a few minutes. By 7th month no picture on right side. Still under warranty, so contact Westinghouse. After supplying info and pictures they issued a Return Merchandise Authorization code and would replace TV. HERE IS THE CATCH - only place to return to is in California, I live in Virginia.
Summary: Very good picture & well priced. Slow as molasses for turning on or changing channels. The strange thing is that it will just turn on by itself sometimes & we don't have a ghost. Big pic for the price but not a primary tv for the house.
Summary: Stopped working in four months. Still under warranty. Contacted Westinghouse. Told me to ship it to them since they no longer fix them. Once the television was in route to them they would send out a replacement. Contacted them and they told me that they would not send out a new one until they recieved the old one. Have had the my television since April. Have still not recieved my replacement. They will not give me any answers over the phone.
Summary: Some shows are plainer than others, the volume is not loud enough,but the music drowns out the words people are speaking.The background sounds are always too loud.We adjusted it all the ways the manual suggests, and the problem is still there..We reset back to original settings 8-10 times. We can't put in channel numbers,we have to take one channel at a time.This is a huge problem.We changed batteries in the remote a couple of times,and nothing helps.
Summary: We bought this tv because it was rated so well...big mistake. Within 2 wks the tv's volume goes up VERY LOUDLY ON ITS OWN! Called the support line 15 times....waited on hold minimum 20mins each time...never got answer. Also, while son plays Xbox he gets kicked off several times and tv shuts off...
