Summary: lasted 6 months and then died. I called Westinghouse support and was told I should have bought the extended warranty. NO! You should make a TV that lasts more than 6 months. I Don't recommend.
Summary: This TV comes at a great price and has lots of options for those who haven't upgraded everything to HDMI. We were able to connect and setup easily to our cable, connect our DVD player, and even connect in our old vcr if we wanted to watch old movies. It still had room for our wii, and roki if we wanted to connect them. Shipping was fast and we got the unit delivered to the house even before we would have had time to go out to a Walmart.
Summary: I would not recommend this television to anyone. I had the television for only seven months when it died and stopped working, and we didn't even use it that often. I will never buy this brand again.
Summary: I was already predisposed to the Westinghouse brand before ordering this 32" TV and certainly didn't expect anything less than what I already owned. Happily, after set up, quite the opposite occurred. The picture quality is even better and the sound vastly improved from previous models! Nice, sharp, clear images that for older eyes are becoming important, and good color rendition as well. Less fiddling with the controls as in the past.
Summary: This review is based on 2 weeks with a new TV so I can not say anything about its reliability or endurance. But so far it is a good TV. I got it on sale for less that 200.00 so I'm happy there. It's the first digital TV I have owned so that part is hard to compare, but I like it. The only thing that threw me a bit is that some reviews say that I can watch movies and display pictures with a flash drive in the USB plug. That is not true.
Summary: I had this tv for 5 years and the picture board went out. I didn't even really use it that much either, I don't watch tv and every now and then I watch a movie. Ha, it costs as much to fix it as buy an new one. I bought Westinghouse because it's a name I know (They've been around since I was a kid), but I guess in this consumer driven market nothing is built to last. How wasteful.
Summary: I'm a photographer and I use this television for photo slide shows of client sessions with appropriately themed music playing in the background. I connect it to my laptop with an HDMI cable and it works wonderfully for my purposes. First thing I noticed was the sound- it's amazing. It sounds way better than the LG I use at home. The picture is great, and the viewing angle is good.
Summary: This is an ok tv for the price. Picture is average at best. Uses TN LCD panel. My biggest problem is, the TV only has an on/off switch. If you lose or break the remote, your stuck. You can turn the tv on or off only. No channel or volume. I ended up returning the tv. I got another model that has the basic controls right on the tv... on/off/volume/channel/menu button. Be very careful with the remote or buy a spare. The tv is pretty much worthless without the remote.
Summary: Got this tv for my bedroom. The price was fantastic! My first HD! Like the thinness of the set but hate that the speakers are in the back and sound bounces off the wall. The picture is not as brilliant as I thought it would be either. At first, we thought it was because were using the old red/yellow/white cable connectors and a standard Direct TV box. Upgraded all that to HD box and HDMI cable and still not a great picture. The volume changes with each channel.
