Nice TV for the money

MyTwoMinions, Target

  • Summary: Pros: Easy to set up. Great picture (with a few minor adjustments.) Three HDMI ports. Good value for the money. Cons: The sound is lame. Speakers face downward which makes the sound sort of hollow. Invest in a sound bar.

Mine also just stopped working

Charles, Target

  • Summary: As another reviewer noted, mine also just stopped working, after 3 months a 3 days. The power supply just went dead. Fortunately, I bought the Target 3-year warranty. Unfortunately, it was still covered under the Westinghouse "warranty". [...

This Westinghouse TV is the Bomb

Jon, Target
25 February 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this TV about a month ago on Sale with the three-year protection plan. Putting the TV together out-of-the-box was very simple with the use of the enclosed screwdriver. Setting up the TV was just as easy. Using the OSD menus for picture and sound along with the advanced settings I got the picture perfect in about 15 minutes. About the questions regarding the 120Hz.

Nice TV but don't know about 120Hz refresh

Eric, Target
12 February 2014
  • Summary: This was a Black Friday online purchase and it was a smokin' deal. The TV looks sleek and I don't have any problems with picture or sound. My only concern is that I don't see anywhere on the box that it is a 120Hz refresh rate and the onscreen display always says 60Hz. Anyone else have this problem or know how to get to 120Hz? I like the TV and I would definitely buy it again.

Let's cut the clutter - a straightforward review

Patrick, Target

  • Summary: This is a cheap tv. As such, expectations should be low. At such a low price, you really have no excuse for not buying the Target extended warranty - up to 3 years if it dies, you just get your money back, no hassles with Westinghouse. TV picture quality is good after you make adjustments, and the menu provides a surprising number of adjustments. Large screen for the money, pretty bright, but still thin in profile and light in weight.

No complaints!

Amy, Target
27 January 2014
  • Summary: I dont know what everyone is complaining about. Many of the reviews complained about the picture quality. My guess is that they do not have it set up properly. Our picture quality is perfect! Many reviews complained that the sound quality is poor. Some said it's "tinny". Sounds great to me! My son even said it sounds better than our last TV! I would absolutely recommend this TV.

Good TV at a great price, easy set-up

Cecile, Target
26 January 2014
  • Summary: Set-up was super easy - there is even a screwdriver included to attach the base. The on-screen set-up is very easy as well. I had the TV unpacked, put together an on watching a program in less than 15 minutes. The picture quality is very good. As other people pointed out the sound is average. This product is an excellent choice for someone who does not need or want a smart TV.
