Pros: Great looking TV. Love the options, Bluetooth remote is cool, internet apps also very cool. 2D is awnsome and it has great SRS sound quality.
Cons: The issue is the frame ware software (watch dog), I am told by Vizio. It causes the TV screen to freeze and then turns itself off. Most but not all of the time it will go into a diagnostic and then turn itself back on. The problem with this is that it
Pros: Nice picture 2D & HD did not try 3D had not purchased glasses at this time. Costco customer service is great for the basic troubleshooting and communication with VIZIO.
Cons: DDAY +8hrs picture blinks on/off >10x a minute & dims intermittently. Vizio internet applications Widgets no longer work. Remote control is not robust, keys stick & very hard to use keyboard not grade AAA. TV audio only works if external audio
Pros: - Incredible picture quality from multiple viewing angles - 3D capabilities were far better than anticipated - 480 Hz refresh rate adds "depth" to 2D images - Ambient light sensor does a great job of balancing brightness vs. room light
Cons: - Sound is sometimes distorted (slightly muffled) - The frame boarders are too "plasticy"
"(2) Units, both brand new, both died within 30 days"
27 February 2011
Pros: When it works, it has the clearest, brightest, most vibrant picture ever. Excellent 2D performance as well as 3D performance. Glasses while bulky are rechargeable, fit over prescription glasses and can charge via the TV itself with USB cord
Cons: First unit died after a couple of weeks. Unit turned itself off, not too hot, just turned off. Then later after running for more than an hour would have a red cast over the whole screen. Finally died. 2nd unit, input 1 didn't work, later died
Pros: + Internet Apps Work Great! + Screen is glossy + Picture Crisp and clear + Easy Set-Up + Slide-out keyboard remote works fairly well + 2D Image quality + 3D Glasses are cheaper than any other brand + Very wide viewing angle both in 2D and 3D
Cons: - No easy way to get firmware updates. - The stand does't swivel - VIA internet applications are limited. - Non included 3D glasses are heavy but work well.
Pros: Sharpest picture I have seen on a 3D set. Easy to set up and use. LED backlights are bright enough to produce a good picture in my window-filled living room. Not just WIFI "ready", but WIFI enabled out of the box. Priced right!
Cons: Glasses are the least comfortable I have tried on. Bezel is thicker and less attractive than comparable sets. The Vizio name is not going to impress any vidiophile, but based on the performance of this set it should be. Does not come with glasses.
