Summary: I love my TV 47" Vizio 240hz just great, I am able to see my Laker games life like. For the price I got it for its like I purchased one of the lakers front seats, but the difference is, I can watch my games all season long.
Summary: Buying refurbished electronics is the way to go if you are buying a TV or related product. People return electronic products to vendors all the time for mostly ridiculous reasons. Manufacturers then reinspect the returns and resell them at reduced prices as they are no longer "new". My recent VIZIO purchase of a SV471XVT LCD Television was a screaming bargain particularly considering it incorporates a 240HZ refresh rate.
Summary: Was hesitant upon ordering a refurbished tv. Caustiously watched programs and sporting events and was pleased looking for any flaw. After having it a while really am impressed with the quality of picture and appearance. Extremely happy and satisfied with the tv while watching the Lakers win their 2nd title in a row.
Summary: Product was delivered with no issues. Tv was very easy to set-up for first time viewing. I searched on-line for optimum settings and found the ones I liked best and made the adjustments. I tweaked those a little more and the picture is awesome. Great TV for the money. I hope it stands the test of time.
Summary: This is our first Vizio TV. Has excellent color. Hoping this will last a very long time. Very attractive: UPDATE: 5/20/10 Well the Vizio was delivered on 2/20/10. Picture went out 5/8/10. Sure didn't last very long. Vizio was unable to repair the set. Now they say they will replace it with a recertified model. It may be their option but it lasted such a short while I believe they should replace it with a brand new one.
Summary: I placed my order on 2/23 and received it on 2/25, not too shabby for free shipping. Once I pulled my head out of my butt, set up was pretty darn easy. Even with a standard definition satellite signal the picture looks great, and after testing a few fast action dvd's on a sony up-convert dvd player, I'm sold. I'm really looking forward for Dish Network to get here tomorrow to upgrade my sat receiver with their fancy hi-def version.
Summary: I love this TV. I purchased a Vizio 42" LCD TV about 4 years ago, it has worked flawlessly to this day, but I decided to replace it with the new 47"XVT. I am amazed at the quality all around! Great Picture, easy to use, lots of connections and looks great on my Entertainment center... I have been using an up-convert dvd player with the old 42" Vizio and had great quality(or so I thought), but With the new 47"XVT, I cannot believe how great the standard dvd player looks!
Summary: I purchased this system in December 2009. I waited for the 240Mhz system and indeed everything I have read has been borne out. I won't reiterate what everyone has mentioned but I do want to bring one comment. When you watch movies on this system, they look like they have been shot from a home video camera. I watched Twilight (recent movie) and it really looked odd. It demystified the movie. The reason is due to Smooth Motion Technology which can be enabled and disabled.
