Would be wonderful if it worked.

  • Summary: Other reviewers are right on. We got the TV Thanksgiving of 2011 and loved it. The picture was great. Internet apps on the TV were neat but we didnt use they except Pandora. As time went on things got worse. The sound started cracking while watching TV. About 6 months after purchase when the TV was turned on the sound began to pop in and out for the first 3ish minutes.

DO NOT BUY!

  • Summary: I bought this TV last year right after Christmas. I had read the reviews at that time about the picture black out problem. It SUPPOSEDLY was being addressed through firmware updates. Well, in February I called Vizio to tell them about the ongoing picture blackout. I will say at this point that the Customer Service reps are all very well trained and polite people. And in all honesty I let this go on too long.

sound issues picture issues lack of help from support

  • Summary: speakers rattle when we adjusted them, they sound really bad so we bought the sound bar vht215 it would not hook through hdmi , three calls to tech support and they could not figure it out. they gave up exhausted all means. works with optical but we bought it to work with hdmi the arc would not display on input on bar. they said it needed serviced really? anyway back to tv great 3d but thats it.

DO NOT BUY VIZIO TVS WITH INTERNET APPS

  • Summary: I bought a vizio t.v. just over a year ago and had problems connecting to internet last night through my apps. After contacting my dsl service provider, I figured out they were not the problem. So, I contacted Vizio and they figured out it was the television that needed to be repaired. Since I have had the tv just over a year, it would not be covered under warranty. Vizio said the work would cost 301.00 to repair the t.v.

Nice TV but the sound went out on it after 6 months

  • Summary: We bought this television six months ago and it was great. We had no problems. The picture was amazing, we were able to watch netflix on it without a problem, and the image quality is excellent. Unfortunately there are two problems, one large and one small. The large problem is that the sound cut out on us. Every time we turn on the tv, we have no sound. If we wait sometimes the sound begins to come in slowly (on and off until it is on all the way).

Major flaw, do NOT buy!

  • Summary: I amazed when a nice product like this has a technical flaw so major that it makes it unusable. I was reading about the "self-turn-off" problem (check out You-Tube for some great videos of this) and wanted to hear from Vizio if they had fixed it. After some fancy dancing on the phone (she read me a carefully scripted response) the poor gal admitted that the product is in fact flawed, that the technicians were working on a fix, but there was none yet.

Five stars...except for one major problem

  • Summary: Length:: 6:54 Mins I absolutely love this TV. It has a fantastic picture, lots of great apps, the remote is great, everything about it is fantastic - except for one thing: the TV is unwatchable. This TV has a major firmware flaw. When the TV encounters a significant scene change, particularly if the scene change involves a sudden, black image, the TV turns itself off.
