Summary: Buyer Beware Vizio LED HDTV's! I bought this TV from Walmart a few years ago. Problems began popping up about 1 month after the warranty had expired. The problems progressed until I finally experienced the dreaded "Black Screen of Death".
Summary: Great product, great company, great price! I ordered on 4/9 and received the product on 4/16. Great quality service and cooperation from seller. I’d order from them again! VIZIO M421VT has an easy set up and user guide that I had no problem following.
Summary: I've had this TV for a little over three years and suddenly the picture is scrambled (but audio is fine). Called my cable company and they checked everything out and concluded that the problem was with the TV.
Summary: I have had this TV for less than two years. The picture will not turn on. In doing research, I have discovered that a fuse has apparently blown. This means I either open it up and solder a new fuse to the board or buy a new TV. Do a search for "Vizio TV's suck" or "Vizio TV picture won't come on".
Summary: We bought this TV in August of 2011. Today, February 26, 2014, the screen went black. I called Vizio to learn that the back light needed to be replaced. It was out of warranty but thank God I purchased the extended warranty through Walmart so they are coming to fix it.
Summary: The picture and audio quality have been fine. However, the TV reboots or loses tuner tracking often enough to be annoying. The problems happen mostly with tuner programming, less often with cable signals. The firmware for this model has not been updated in several years.
