Summary: The picture and audio quality have been fine. However, the TV reboots or loses tuner tracking often enough to be annoying. The problems happen mostly with tuner programming, less often with cable signals. The firmware for this model has not been updated in several years. My next TV will not be a Vizio.
Summary: I'll admit this is my first LED High Def TV (never had an LCD one before). It's been a year and a half and, knock on wood, the only downside has been the "power cycling," that occurs about once every 3-6 months for no apparent reason. I guess that's good news since I never filled out my Warranty card...but at this point I'd be out of warranty anyway. The last time it happened I Googled it and ran across these reviews or else I never would have known what was happening.
Summary: Used only 2-3 hours per week in a bedroom setup. Slow to startup. Internet apps only OK since they are slow. Picture quality is pretty good, but the grainy with an SD picture. Picture averaging improves this but results in an unnatural video. Illuminated Vizio logo stinks in low light environments (like a bedroom). I have to cover it up since it's way brighter than a night light. Can't find a way to turn it off either. Biggest issue...
Summary: how can i give this tv a no star? tv is a peice of junk, before you buy vizio,do your researches very well,i have been trying to fix a tv with a disapearing screen for the past 4 months through vizio and its the same BS from them.never buy this tv check online for reviews 1st and issues
Summary: I had this TV for 1 year and 2 months. It lasted just enough to go out of warranty. Then the screen went black. The rest is still working and I can even see the picture if I shine with a flashlight on the surface. I called Vizio customer service and they said the lamp went bad and it is not a serviceable part (none actually are). The customer service rep plainly told me TO JUST THROW THE TV OUT AND BUY A NEW ONE.
Summary: I bought a vizio t.v. just over a year ago and had problems connecting to internet last night through my apps. After contacting my dsl service provider, I figured out they were not the problem. So, I contacted Vizio and they figured out it was the television that needed to be repaired. Since I have had the tv just over a year, it would not be covered under warranty. Vizio said the work would cost 301.00 to repair the t.v.
Good value in a LED edge lit 1080p HDTV with Internet connectivity.

Summary: This TV is loaded with features that make it very versatile. WiFi Vizio Internet Apps (VIA) allow it to work as a networked PC enabling streaming movies from Netflix, Hulu, audio from Pandora, Facebook social apps., etc. The picture quality is superb from a DirecTV source. It has optical audio out jack, but no 5.1 coaxial connection. This is the only con I have found.
Summary: Ok, first things first. I want to address the issue with this tv turning off automatically...If you turn off the adaptive luma, smart dimming, and ambient lighting...no probelems, but it seems like features you pay for that you aren't using. Next, I believe the factory presets are just trash, so I bought a calibration disc from Disney called WOW which is very comprehensive. After calibration the tv is awesome. Here are the settings with a dimly lit room...
Summary: I give it a very generous 2 stars. The internet apps are not very useful, this was the reason I bought this one. I wish I would have waited and purchased a higher quality tv instead of one for the internet feature. The picture is sharp and crisp, a little too much so. It makes everything look a little less life like. It's hard to explain, but everything looks a little bit fake. Especially backgrounds & CGI special effects on lower budget shows.
