Summary: Easy to setup and install but picture quality was poor. Red pixels appearing in light areas as digital noise. Very distracting. Have contacted seller and they said they would review and advise on repair or replacement. Not pleased with the Quality control on this model. I already had a 4 year old Visio and it works great. Also - no sound on HD channels - only on the regular channels of the same stations. Will ask why when repair person arrives.
M3D550KDE - stay away from this. Stay away from VIZIO support

Summary: I had this tv shipped to me early December. This tv is supposed to have in-built-wifi & should connect to my internet instantly. What I found out after setting up the TV is that it was not able to stream videos using my Netflix account. I contacted Netflix & Vizio - Netflix confirmed there is no issue with my account and that the TV is defective if it is not able to play videos. Note that Netflix works on anohter smart tv in the house.
Summary: This TV is your typical bait and switch for holiday season. Vizio produced a tv with amazing reviews, the m3d550KD...this is not that TV. The KDE is an entirely different television. It was rushed into production to replace the KD because it has significantly lower performance and a much higher profit margin for Vizio. The TV was so rushed, it doesn't even come with the correct parts.
Summary: It has a beautiful picture and is very easy to use and set up. The apps are easy to download and use. I have also paired it with the VIZIO 3D blu ray player and I have just fallen in love with it. My kids love the game mode feature. The sound is OK but for the money it is great. I am very happy with this purchase.(NOT.....this was during the first 3 months) It has been a year since I purchased this unit.
