Great TV - Audio issue: TV audio may NOT be TV problem

Summary: I read many of the reviews and was confused about this TV because is has the best picture of any LED tv of its size. BUT There is the issue of the faulty audio. It took some time, but I believe that the cause of the problem has been found. Most of us connect these TVs using the HDMI cable because we want the best picture quality. There lies the problem; if you have Direct TV, the Dish Network or even Comcast.
Summary: After 3 months of owning a Vizio 26" led tv, the screen went bad. There were lines across and vertical on the screen and the screen was white when we turned it on. When I called them to return it, you could barely hear the rep as their call center is inundated with calls and is very loud. They requested I take pictures of the screen. I uploaded the pictures and followed up with a call.
Summary: THIS T.V. IS O.K. THE SOUND IS TINNY, THE COLOR IS O.K. IF YOU CAN NAVIGATE THE ADJUSTMENTS ON THE REMOTE. I ALREADY REPLACED IT WITH A 32IN. L.G. FOR MY BEDROOM, MUCH BETTER. I PLAN TO SELL THE VIZIO SINCE I HAVE NO NEED FOR IT.
Summary: Seriously, you need to hunt for some kind of sound system to go with this t.v. and figure out how to set it up. On top of that the remote failed in the first few months completely. Also the touch bar doesn't stay on long enough when you turn channels to see if you like the channel or not. I do not like the delay when changing channels either.
Summary: This was a great buy at $196 plus shipping. The TV works well as was easy to set up. The picture quality is good, but keep the brightness at around 55% as otherwise the contrast will suffer leading to a washed-out picture. However even at 55% brightness the picture is quite bright. The audio is satisfactory for watching movies while sitting close to the TV. Of course you are not going to get loud hifi sound out the tiny built-in spekers.
Summary: This product was okay until it stopped working suddenly about 7 months ago. I have been trying to see if it was the outlet or the product. After testing it in every outlet, it's the product. $300 for a product that worked not even a year is EXTREMELY disappointing. I have a 32 inch from VIZIO that is 2 years older, and it is going strong. Run away!!!
