Summary: I was very happy to get such a good TV at a great price. This 55 inch flat screen replaced my huge 53 inch projection TV. This TV was less the one third the cost of my old projection TV. I added so much more quality in my TV viewing and also added a lot more free space in my living room. I love it. Let's fire up the pop corn, I'm ready for movie night.
Summary: This if our first refurbished buy, and so far (4 days in) we haven't had any issues. When we unwrapped the package, there was a few cracked plastic pieces (where it vents at the top of TV) but not to where it caused any internal damage. We set the TV up to make sure there was no internal damage from the cracked pieces, and it's as clear as our 42" we just upgraded from. We are BIG Vizio LCD fans.
Summary: Needed a new TV since we were still using a projection TV and shopped around online for used ones at a decent price. So far there's nothing that I can say I dislike about the tv but I do love all of the option to hook up different types of inputs. For the price difference between the top end units and this one it was well worth it.
Summary: Was looking for a good 55" TV, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Went with the E552VLE based on the reviews, and was not disappointed.. I ended up calibrating it based on online specs & was not disappointed. Would definitely recommend this product if you're looking for a good solid 55" and need to save money.
Summary: I Would recommend this if you are looking for a great picture quality. The down fall is there is only 1 place for RF to plug in if you are ready for all hdmi products it is great the is plenty of places to plug in but I had to buy a converter for $20 so that I could plug in video game system, cable and dvd player. This was packaged great and when it was delivered there were no problems it only took about 5 days to arrive.
Summary: this is a great starter HD Smart TV. It has all the features that you would expect in a smart tv except for DLNA support from other devices to the TV. The TV itself has a "media" app that will (very slowly and inconsistently) find other devices, like computers or mobile phones. Once found and browsed to your media content it may or may not actually play the media from other devices, but when it works it is great and a really neat feature.
