Summary: Ordering a huge T.V. on line was really taking a chance, but I did and I have never been sorry. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. The picture is really exceptional. I do have some issues with the sound as it seems to drop in and out at times, especially during commercials when it becomes three times as loud as the regular programming. However that may not be a faulty sound system so much as a programming problem.
Summary: I have a large, pre-amplified, rooftop antenna, yet this TV is not capable of receiving many of the local channels. I plugged the exact same coax into a Philips TV that I borrowed from a friend, and it gets all of the local channels and many from surrounding cities. Vizio technical support insists that the TV is working as expected. Their claim is that as long as the tuner gets at least 1 channel, it's not defective. They refuse to do anything to solve the problem.
Summary: Though my review is not for this specific model, my experience with Vizio I'm sure is not unique. I must say that when my Vizio worked, it worked well. The picture and features were very nice. However 2 months out of warranty there was a loud POP and the picture died. Customer service was no help, and gave me a number of a company in Florida that does "out of warranty" work for Vizio (I'm in New York).
Summary: Very nice TV ,3RD Vizio I own. I was worried about buying a refurbished tv,but it came boxed just like it would if bought from the store,a I doubt it was ever used before.I`m not a very tech savvy guy and had no problem setting up or using the internet apps. The picture it awesome!
Summary: This TV was a gift(kind of)...I paid half price because the family member I got it from won it. It was new in box and I thought, why not? Background- I was sitting on an old 30 inch HDTV that was the old tube type. I purchased that tv eight years ago and it was a heavy beast. Fast forward to this Vizio. Okay peeps, this bad boy only weighs 60 pounds! I assembled it on a three tiered tv stand that has the center piece running up from the stand for you to mount the tv on.
