Summary: I read reviews 3 weeks AFTER we bought this tv. Now I know the picky remote and problems with wifi aren't just our imagination. Beautiful picture. We don't really need the wifi - have an AppleTV. Ours got a black dot in the past few days, so will be returning (or exchaning...not sure yet).
Summary: After installing the TV as instructed in the manual, I immediately notice ~4 rows of pixels that are emitting the right color, but less bright than the rest of the panel. Couldn't find a similar issue - I'll be returning the TV as soon as possible. I'd recommend thinking twice before paying for a brand with such poor quality control.
Summary: This is a great TV for the price! I thought the set up was really easy and every app that I think we could ever use was already loaded on the TV. I've read some of the other reviews but I don't have anything negative to say about this, We've only had it for 4 days but we LOVE IT so far!

Summary: Let me start by saying this TV will serve well for most. Pre-calibrated settings will work for a lot of people and the colors are adequate. I prefer to try and get the most out of the TV but could not get accurate skin tones without losing white in a muddy mix. I would recommend seeing the tv in person to verify it will work for you.
Summary: Just purchased this TV, Netflix freezes and the TV randomly powers off! This seems to be a known issue, if you read the reviews... I'm going and returning this ... wonder if the replacement will be any better or if it will do the same this one.
Summary: When I go to Best Buy or Costco, and I walk by certain display TV's, I am in AWE at the picture quality. They just look way better than the rest. I had high hopes that this TV would be the same, since it's LED, 1080P, 120Hz, etc. It just doesn't quite live up to that expectation. The picture is good, but not amazing like I see sometimes on other TV's. Plus, biggest complaint, the remote control is garbage.
VIZIO 55" television. Screen freezes while sound continues after ...

Summary: VIZIO 55" television. Screen freezes while sound continues after it operates for about 5 minutes, then the TV shuts itself off, goes through its recycle (downloading fixes supposedly, but nothing ever is fixed), and then it powers up again. Also, I ALWAYS have to restart the TV when I switch to Netflix mode because the TV dies. It normally works OK after it starts again, but it does occasionally die about an hour into the movie.
Summary: We just returned the 55"E series and bought the 55"M series Vizio b/c of picture and sound quality. Even after adjusting the many picture settings the picture still was very flat feeling. It was not vibrant and the colors were just not right. The sounds quality was also mediocre.
Summary: I bought this to replace a 50-inch Samsung Plasma that was stolen by house burglars. Here's what I like and dislike about this Vizio LED-LCD television: I LIKE... the narrow bezel that makes the screen seem to be floating in the air, the bright picture, the very black blacks the many inputs on the back, the easy of switching inputs, the energy efficiency the fact that I don't have to worry about screen burn-in, like with my plasma t.v. I DISLIKE...
