Summary: I bought this TV because as was in need of one. I like the WIFI and 120 Hz features. Not as fast as a PC, but you can navigate over the net. I may buy same brand again, but with more internet processing speed.
Summary: This TV was an excellent buy. I saved nearly $100 buying refurbished. It also came with the keyboard remote and a basic remote. The only reason why I have the picture quality a 4 out of 5 is because, A) It's not LED backlit (I knew that going in) and it took me a few hours to get the picture JUUUUST right. The blacks are totally washed out but that was also something I figured going in. It's not super terrible, but I've definitely seen better.
Summary: Great pictured. I made two small adjustments to the color and tint. If you use an indoor antenna to receive local HD channels, this TV will surprise you at how easily it finds and holds signals. I get a great, stable picture and sound even though my antenna location, in an apartment building, is far from ideal. Overall, you won't be disappointed by this refurbished TV, if you take advantage of the bargain price.
Summary: I needed a replacement HD TV for an LG that fizzled. After doing a reasonable amount of research, the Vizio came back as a top value for the money. I went from a plasma to an LCD and was concerned about the picture quality. I'm happy to report that the difference in picture is minimal. Maybe there's a bigger difference on a larger screen, but we're very happy with the picture this 42" television provides. The "smart" features are easy to access and relatively intuitive.
Summary: Initially I did my homework on refurbished TVs and found out that they can be a great bargain. Well my story is quite different; the signs were there when I picked up the set. First of all it was not in the original box but instead in one that was waay to big for the set, the tape was coming off from the bottom of the box which was causing the tv to come through, it was not packed well but I decided to give it a try any way.
Summary: Pretty nice tv for the money. At first set up, the picture was horrible. Fortunately, it was because the manufacturing settings were on 480p. Since I don't have HD cable (yet) I'm still really only getting 720p through the cable box but the picture is still good. The only thing I dislike about the tv is the fact that it takes forever to turn on.
Vizio 42 inch WiFi 120 hertz a lot of TV for the money
16 January 2013
Summary: This TV has a excellent picture and is very easy to set up,motion blur is very minimal due to the 120 hertz response time, and colors are vibrant without being overboard. The internet apps need more choices and a way to truely browse . My only problem with the TV was the remote which showed up DOA but a quick stop at walmart and a vizio 3 function generic remote fixed that problem working right out of the package with no need to program.
