Summary: These have a problem with failure of the inverter boards. Unit fails to turn on. There are two of these inverter boards behind the back panel and can easily be replaced. Many sources for the replacement boards on that E site. Picture quality is acceptable. Many connections on back for your inputs.
Summary: I'm not a big TV person, but I like to have one in the house. Got it for $300 on sale at target in Aug/Sept of '12. Thing died to day...(2/6/14)...I don't know what happened... just died. The screen went out..my movie turned into a barcode :/ Such a bummer. A really expensive bummer.
Summary: This tv has worked out great for us. I think we had to look up how to set up the volume a special way, but it wasn't hard to do. I just wish it had a smaller increment of time on its sleep timer and wish it had a wake/alarm like my old RCA.
Dying after a year, known issue, customer service is no help

Summary: Title says it all. The longer version: Google the words vizio television vertical lines, and you'll get dozens of pages of results -- this is something that has happened to many, many people, and the company clearly doesn't care to acknowledge it, much less make it right either before or after the sale. The best thing you can hope for is that this problem will happen immediately, so that the company will replace the entire unit (which is the only real fix for it).
Summary: We purchased this around 8-10 months ago (not through Amazon - for televisions I like to be the delivery method :) ). It is fairly solid television. Reasonable set of controls, reasonable set of inputs, etc. I run an XBox 360 and our cable box through different video inputs. There is only one "complaint" we would have...however it really isn't one that should surprise anyone: the sound quality is average (at best).
Summary: Stay Away! Be Afraid, Be VERY Afraid! Unreliable! Unbelievable! Once out of warranty, it TURNS IN TO A DOORSTOP! Volume turns ITSELF UP and then the TV turns off! What? Now a hazy and gray bar has developed across the middle of the screen and will not go away! What a disappointment this has been. Plus, the Vizio Customer "Service" is good for nothing more than to tell you, "Oh, well, I guess you have no option but to replace it, AND, want you to buy another Vizio.
