Summary: I've never had any problems with this television. One possible thing of note is that this television came with no dead pixels, which would cause me anxiety if it did. Good television, works well with several gaming devices and computers.
Summary: Incredible almost 5-year old TV for those wanting to maintain more privacy by doing w/out WIFI but still get a uniquely-configured & awesome TV. Used to stroll through BJ's Wholesale back in the day & drool over this TV. And who needs WIFI?
Upgrade to a flatscreen, not perfect but decent for the price.

Summary: The picture quality is great, the sound is even better, nice and loud. The apps work fine most of the time. Although sometimes it will freeze up on netflix and we have to unplug the tv and restart netflix.
Summary: So I bought this tv a little over a year ago. Great picture and sound is fine, only thing is it turns off unexpectedly by itself. I didn't notice it much at first because I didn't use it much, but now that I'm using it more it gets annoying because it takes a little bit to boot up again.
Summary: I have had problems with this TV shortly after receiving it. This TV would power off unexpectedly and would have to un plug it from the outlet to reset. Here it is 10 months later and now it won't power up at all.
Summary: Almost immediately after pulling the tv out of the box you can see why a 1080p 42inch would cost you under $400. It looks kind of cheap and is thick. But as soon as you turn it on and play a movie at 1080p its ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
Summary: I am very happy with my purchase of this Vizio TV. I especially like the "smart" feature that allows us to use Netflix, Hulu, etc. directly from the TV. Before this, we had used Roku to access those additions. The picture is clear and sharp, the colors are gorgeous.
