Summary: I measured the tv because the tv did not look 42inches. It is not. The box it came in is only 41 and a half inches long. The tv is 39 and the viewing screen is close to 37. HOW do they call that 42? No idea but it is a nice set. Works good so far and has a nice picture.
Summary: Unit arrived OK. Set unit up and it worked fine for one day only. Had to return unit to Walmart. Read all the great things Walmart did to make sure this TV was like new when purchased evidently someone dropped the ball. Walmart representatives were very helpful in setting up return process.
Summary: Refurbished TV came without proper base and HDMI cord. After emailing customer service I waited a week to here back that they had shipped the pieces. I have had the TV in my living room for over a week unable to use.
Summary: My family is very happy with this TV it is our first flat screen. But everyone who has seen it says it has great color. The sound is excellent. We have no complaints so far. We have had it about a month.
Summary: So far so good. The picture is not always that great considering it's 1080p 120hz but I guess I can live with it. I found some settings for the TV online that made the picture look better, so that was helpful. Preferred Settings: Backlight: 75, Contrast: 69, Brightness: 49, Sharpness: 8, Color: 55, Tint: -2. Advanced Settings Noise Reduction- Low, MPEG NR- Low, Color Enhancement, Adaptive Luma, Film Mode, Smart Dimming and Ambient Light Sensor- all set to off.
